This past weekend, the 2026 Big Time Hoops Showcase exploded onto the hardwood at Las Cruces High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Over 80 high school prospects from New Mexico and the greater El Paso area turned in two days of electric basketball and gained serious college exposure.

The premier event gave these rising stars the perfect stage to shine in front of a loaded lineup of collegiate coaches from Division II, NAIA, and JUCO programs who were actively hunting talent. Teams ran a fast-paced round-robin tournament—four games each—while a high-energy 3-Point Contest and clutch on-court moments kept scouts glued to their clipboards.

Off the court, the showcase delivered real value with an NCAA Eligibility Seminar that gave players and parents straight talk on the recruitment process, eligibility rules, and exactly what it takes to reach the next level.

What separates good shooters from the elite? Repeatable mechanics, balance, rhythm, confidence, and zero wasted motion. As Stephen Curry famously put it, “The best shooters shoot the exact same way every single time they look at the basket.” Those traits were on full display this weekend—and the snipers below proved it.

Michelle Reyes – Coronado (TX) Class of 2027

Wright turned heads all weekend. She drained perimeter shots in catch-and-shoot situations with deadly accuracy, showing deep range and the basketball IQ to relocate into open spaces. The future is bright—and her range is even brighter.
