<p>A few Utah teams got their first games under their belts, giving an early look at how they may stack up for the rest of the season. Here are some players who stood out with their performances.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">U15 Games</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Seeing Cam operate on the perimeter was a different look, and she handled it well. She was often tasked with bringing the ball up against smaller, quicker guards and did so with confidence and control.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">She covers ground quickly, turning rebounds into fast-break layups in the same possession, and her length on the defensive end creates problems for opposing teams, disrupting rhythm and closing space effectively.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Maelys has a strong feel for the game, consistently reading the floor and finding cutters with passes that others might miss. She sees plays develop early and delivers the ball right where it needs to be.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">Offensively, she moves well without the ball, finding open lanes and putting herself in position to receive it near the rim. Pair that with a smooth, fluid shot, and she becomes a smart and efficient scoring option within the flow of the offense.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">U16 Games</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Ellie looks comfortable and confident whenever the ball is in her hands. Her size is an immediate advantage on the perimeter, and she uses it effectively to see over defenders and control the pace of the play.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">She does a great job using that size to attack, getting into the paint and closing the distance to the rim. Off the dribble, she's able to create space that opens up multiple options, making her a tough matchup for defenders trying to contain her.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Seeing Jordan back at full speed offered a clear look at her potential. Her team went undefeated over the weekend, and her constant energy played a major role in that success.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">She stays active from end to end, never taking a possession off, which led to steals that quickly turned into points. Offensively, her ball movement stands out—she delivers passes that catch defenses off guard and consistently finds teammates in spots others might miss.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">U17 Games</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">We expected Mahala to step up, and in her first game she showed exactly the kind of potential she can bring this season. For a player her size, she's comfortable picking up the ball and operating on the perimeter, adding versatility to her game.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">She covers ground well and does a great job finding space in the paint, putting herself in position to make plays. That combination of mobility and awareness makes her a valuable presence on the floor moving forward.</p>
