War in the West: Best Post Players

In this article, I will be writing about the top shooters from the past weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='928159' first='Raymiah' last='Jackson'] </strong></em>- Greyhounds 17u 3SSB - Raymiah dominated the paint all weekend long, showcasing a different kind of strength down low. She seals opponents nicely, using her strength to get open and get nice buckets. Her footwork stood out to me too, being able to work off an entry pass in the paint at a high level. She knocked down mid-range shots smoothly and defended the paint at a high level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>Grace Anderson</strong></em> - RAWW 16u - Grace was awesome this past weekend, being able to showcase her soft touch around the rim and strength in the paint. She defended the paint nicely, blocking shots with ease and being able to grab rebounds and get it to her point guard quickly. She is a player to keep an eye on. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>Arabella Vandewater</strong></em> - Boise Slam 15u - Arabella was able to really showcase her skills this past weekend in the paint. She was able to get deep in the paint with her strength and utilize her soft touch around the rim to get the bucket. She is strong on the glass, reading the ball coming off the rim quickly. She is a promising young big in the 15u level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='1696859' first='Emmerie' last='Walcolm']</em></strong> - Greyhounds 15u 3SSB - Emmerie really caught my eye over the past weekend. She scored from all 3 levels, dominating in the paint and being able to score the ball easily. She was elite on the defensive side of the ball too, grabbing steals with ease and finishing layups in transition nicely. She is one player I am excited to continue to watch her journey. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
