Raymiah Jackson Raymiah Jackson 6'0" | PF Emerald Ridge | 2027 State WA (Class of 2027, Emerald Ridge High School, WA) made an immediate impression this spring with the Northwest Greyhounds Adidas 3SSB 17U team, establishing herself as one of the premier power forwards on the circuit. Her calling card is her relentless defensive presence. Raymiah consistently matched up against some of the nation’s top post players, using her strength, physicality, and tireless work ethic to limit their production. She bodies up in the paint, pushes opponents off the block, attacks every rebound, and never hesitates to dive on the floor for a loose ball. She simply outworks her opponent.

What stood out just as much was her resilience. Despite battling a significant shoulder injury during the second half of the summer, Raymiah continued to compete with incredible determination. While no player should have to play through an injury, her perseverance reflected the toughness that has become her trademark. As her coach, Buck Buchanan, puts it, “She refuses to quit and will out-hustle everyone.”

Off the court, Raymiah’s personality shines just as brightly. She brings energy, laughter, and genuine joy to her teammates and fans alike, reminding everyone around her why they fell in love with the game. Her combination of physicality, relentless effort, and infectious enthusiasm makes her the kind of player every college program would be fortunate to have.

Jackson has established herself as one of the premier post players in the 2027 class. She uses her strength and positioning exceptionally well, sealing defenders deep in the paint and finishing through heavy contact. Her physical presence around the basket makes her difficult to contain offensively, while her rim protection and rebounding ability anchor the defense. With continued growth, she looks primed for a breakout spring and summer season.

Raymiah is one of the best bigs in the 2027 class, being able to seal defenders easily and be someone who can dominate the paint. She is strong down low and able to finish through traffic and contact. Jackson defends the paint at a high level too, blocking shots with ease and always being ready to rebound the ball. She is poised for a big spring/summer this year.

Jackson was the anchor of Sumner’s offense with 16 points and nine rebounds. She shot 6-of-10 from the floor and consistently finished inside the paint. Her interior presence helped Sumner control the rebounding battle and maintain offensive balance.
