Hopkins' star continued to shine at this year's Chaos in Colorado tournament. She dominated from start to finish with her versatile scoring (at all three levels). Her deceptive athleticism left defenders flat-footed as she soared to the rim for easy layups. Hopkins kept defenses honest by knocking down threes efficiently all weekend. Defensively, Hopkins was a rebounding machine, her second leap outpacing everyone else's first. Expect a big summer for Hopkins as the freshman wing continues to impress.

Barnes had an impressive weekend and showcased her ability to get downhill from the point of attack. She had several nice drives, finishing with a variety of moves throughout the tournament. Her standout moment came against Grit's 15U squad, where she carved up the interior for tough baskets. Barnes' defensive effort was also spectacular as she continuously applied suffocating on-ball pressure and made life miserable for opponents trying to break the press. The West Field freshman delivered performances to remember.

McClain's tournament run turned heads and boosted her profile. She set out to “cause chaos”, and she certainly accomplished her mission. She was flying on the court, stealing passes and turning them into and-1 layups. Her speed and quickness were on full display as she routinely drove past her primary defender to finish at the rim. Her energy was infectious, and her motor never stopped. McClain's rapid rise promises an exciting summer for the freshman guard.

Trautwein made a statement this weekend, anchoring her RMR club with steady leadership and consistent play. She excelled at moving without the ball, cutting and slashing for layups, and finishing through contact. Trautwein delivered in the clutch, including a game-tying steal and coast-to-coast layup against Grit with two minutes left. The lefty wing also proved her range by hitting shots from beyond the arc. It was a standout showing for the Cheyenne Central freshman.

Johnson's steady presence on the court has a calming effect on her club team. She controls the game and plays with the right pace for each situation. She can push in transition or slow it down and execute pick-and-roll actions. Johnson gets the basket with smooth finishes, as evident in her game against The Hoopsters. She also knocks down open threes at an efficient clip. This weekend, Johnson's poised leadership shone through, signaling her readiness to lead Montrose High School next season.
