Battle in the EC: Oregon 2031 Standouts

The 5-foot-11 7th-grader is a multisport athlete who competes at the highest level in everything she does. She played with OTP in the 2029 division at the Battle in the EC, demonstrating her ability to score at all three levels. Gayman has nice length to defend, rebound, and get to the rim. She moved well on the bounce, taking it full court, and created her own shot from the mid-range to the three-point range. The 5-foot-5 guard is quick on the bounce, can make the entry pass from the perimeter, or drive and dish. She can also hit three-pointers from the top of the arc or get downhill and draw the foul on tough takes. Hoang's deftness on the bounce in the open court was especially impressive. The 5-foot-9 7th-grader used a quick first step to force turnovers at the front of the press, close out the point of attack on defense, and blow by her defender on offense. Parrish was patient in finding the right pass under pressure in the backcourt and was capable of bringing the ball up.
