Class of 2030 Stock Watch

The class of 2030 is heating up! While these players still have plenty of development ahead, the early flashes of skill, athleticism, feel, and competitiveness are hard to ignore. From versatile scorers and disruptive defenders to emerging floor generals and physical frontcourt pieces, this group continues to build momentum.    Dennis is already showing strong court awareness as a rising freshman, she understands how to use her speed to consistently get into the paint and put pressure on defenses. What stands out most is the poise and vision she plays with once she gets there, regularly creating opportunities for teammates and keeping others involved offensively.     I first caught Martin in the fall, and most recently PGH Texas lead scout Simmie Colson saw her in the first quarter of this year (see previous evaluations here) and what is very obvious is that Martin is an offensive threat that will make waves in high school. Martin brings relentless pressure defensively, staying attached to ball handlers and consistently making offensive players uncomfortable. She shows advanced instincts for her age, quickly identifying openings in the defense and attacking them with confidence and control. Whether finishing through traffic or forcing defenders into fouls, her physicality and aggressiveness around the basket make her a tough matchup on both ends of the floor.     Arias' bread and butter isn't just the ability to shift gears and change direction to create separation, but the understanding of when to do it. She shows advanced feel by recognizing when the floor is spaced properly, identifying openings as they develop, and attacking those driving windows with purpose. That combination of timing, pace, and control makes her difficult for defenders to contain once she gets downhill.     Long and lengthy with a smooth, high-arcing jumper, she already looks comfortable as a perimeter shooting threat. While she can knock down spot-up shots consistently, defenders also have to respect her ability to put the ball on the floor and create offense off the bounce, making her difficult to guard honestly.     Williams impacts the game from the inside and out on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she has the versatility to switch onto smaller guards and hold her own with her mobility and length. Offensively, that same versatility shows through her ability to stretch the floor with perimeter shooting while also attacking gaps and slashing to the basket, using her length effectively around the rim.
