Williams impacts the game from the inside and out on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she has the versatility to switch onto smaller guards and hold her own with her mobility and length. Offensively, that same versatility shows through her ability to stretch the floor with perimeter shooting while also attacking gaps and slashing to the basket, using her length effectively around the rim.

Williams plays strong around the basket as she hits the boards on both ends and scores around the basket, putbacks included. She also does a good job defending both in and outside the paint. She plays the passing lane and can score, not only off the dribble but from outside as well, catch and shoot included
