The energy was different at the Jazz City Jam as the 15U division brought high-level competition, toughness, and serious talent to the floor. Guards controlled the pace, wings made impacts on both ends, and bigs battled inside with physicality and effort. Every game felt competitive, and multiple players stepped into the spotlight with confidence and composure under pressure. Whether it was elite ball-handling, knockdown shooting, defensive pressure, or relentless hustle, this group brought a complete mix of skill and heart all weekend long.   What stood out most was the mindset. Players weren't backing down from the moment—they embraced it. Coaches and scouts saw athletes communicating, diving for loose balls, creating for teammates, and making winning plays possession after possession. The toughness, IQ, and overall feel for the game were impossible to ignore. Kaydence “KK” Hickman is a young combo guard with real confidence, skill, and a strong feel for the game. She plays with a calm presence beyond her years and has already shown the ability to impact games as both a scorer and playmaker. Public profiles list her as a 2030 guard at Hicks High School.   Offensively, Hickman is smooth with the ball in her hands. She can handle pressure, create off the dribble, and attack the rim with purpose. What stands out is how comfortable she is controlling pace—she doesn't look rushed, and she has the confidence to make plays when the ball is in her hands.   Defensively, she competes with good energy and effort. She applies pressure, stays active, and has the instincts to create turnovers. MaxPreps notes include a game report where she recorded at least three steals, which matches the way she impacts the game with activity and awareness     Maddie Webb is a smart, skilled backcourt prospect with the confidence and feel to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker. She brings a strong guard skillset, showing the ability to handle the ball, read the floor, and make the right play within the flow of the offense.   Offensively, Webb plays with good pace and control. She has a quick release, can knock down shots when given space, and has the handle to create off the bounce. Her IQ stands out—she understands when to attack, when to move the ball, and how to keep the offense organized. Public notes from Mississippi Jazz also describe her as a high-IQ guard with a quick release who can handle the ball.   Defensively, Webb competes with effort and awareness. Kori Robinson is a young interior prospect with toughness, effort, and developing upside. She brings a strong willingness to compete inside and doesn't shy away from physical play around the basket.   Offensively, Robinson shows potential as a player who can finish near the rim, battle for position, and create second-chance opportunities. As she continues to develop her footwork and touch around the paint, her impact will keep growing.   Defensively, she gives effort and brings a physical presence. She can protect space, rebound, and make players work for clean looks inside. Her motor and willingness to battle are strong building blocks.
