The springy workhorse has a nose for the ball and agile footwork. Ava loves to spin in the paint and use step-through moves to get clean looks at the hoop. She's a pogo stick on the offensive glass using her length to earn second and third chance opportunities. When put at the high post, she's quick toward the rim but can also settle for the 15-footer. Against Redline Elite, Jenkins dumped in 22 points, 18 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block, shooting 4-5 from the foul line and converting three putbacks. Ava was ineligible after moving from Bleckley County to ACE last season. Expect an All-State season in Year 3 to make up for lost time as the Gryphons look to contend for a state title.

London did her job in a win over Team Elite Hubbard, rebounding and finishing dump-off assists. Backman-Grier benefited from the ball dominance of Hailey Houlder and Ja'Nyrie Robinson who weaved around the defense before either finding their own shot or collapsing the defense to dump to London. In the second half London scored 10 crucial points including a baseline drive late in the game to stymy a run. Backman-Grier totaled 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists in the 76-66 victory.

Aleigha crashes the glass extremely hard, flying in from the perimeter to rip down boards. Her blend of speed and strength along with her motor make her impactful. She's a threat to grab and go in transition. Against Winners United Parish went for 18 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block, breaking free in the second half for 14 points as she relentlessly attacked the rim with a bully-ball approach.

In a tight loss to the Macon Mystics, Hailey Jacobs made an impact defensively, finishing with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 blocks. When Jacobs revs her motor, she's a difference maker. She has the physical gifts to be an anchor in the front court when she pursues rebounds and attacks from the high post with a quick first step. Consistency will determine her ceiling but Hailey is trending up especially with her offensive skills starting to receive more polish.

Veyda's endurance was on display against Wood Elite, having to play the full 32 minutes with no subs available. Jones was effective in the paint as she secured rebounds and drew fouls. She was able to corral tough passes on the move and flashed growing confidence with improved footwork inside. Veyda even stepped outside to shoot a three, an area of her game which could become a weapon down the line. With her size, frame and eagerness to improve, Jones is one to watch moving forward. On Sunday she double-doubled with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 1 steal, showing touch at the foul line shooting 6-9.
