The top underclassmen can end up stealing most of the spotlight during this period of hoops, but the class of 2030 is at an intriguing interval of their young careers too. During summer basketball, there starts to become separation between players that really make a difference as to how players are viewed and even how the upcoming school season can be shaped. So now this is the ideal moment to discuss some of the future stars from '30 before the next step.

It's not absurd to say Padilla is one of the most potent scorers in the class. She simply knows how to put the ball in the basket. Haniyah has already proven that she can get it done from all 3 levels plus there's a level of refinement to her scoring proficiency. It's hard to see Padilla remaining a top player with her robust performances.

The obvious must be stated; there're some big footsteps left behind by one of NE's most dominant bigs in relative Fope Ayo. However, Fiyan is carving her own path, with her own set of skills. There's an extremely high-motor, flashes of shot-making from multiple spots outside of the paint as well as footwork that translates to both sides of the ball. The '30 forward isn't just an asset in the paint though, her ability to move at her size gives her some versatility, particularly on defense. Fiyan will be one of the premier players in her class in due time.

Ulysse has shown early on that she isn't a name that should be glossed over when it comes to discussing this class. It's obvious that she has a relentless drive and an athletic frame that propels her in various styles of play. Often players Ally's age will get discouraged from the rim after some contact, but that's not the case here. She shows solid strength, plus Ulysse makes adjustments at the rim to get quality looks off. Ally isn't just a driver though, if given space, she'll pull from deep or even get to her in-between floater if the gaps in the defense are that large. On the other side of the ball, that strong frame and her active hands cause a lot of disruption. Ally loves to speed players up into making mistakes, so she can convert them into easy baskets. Ulysse has a bright future ahead of her.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273716' first='Liemarie' last='Gonzalez'] (2030) |

Liemarie may not exactly fit into this category 100% because she does have hs experience playing at Wheeler this season as an 8th grader. However, the point is that she's one of the top emerging young guards in this talented class. Her heart, hustle, determination, facilitation skills, consistent engaging on-ball defense, natural leadership qualities and flashes of impressive shot-making all come into play here. The sky is the limit with Gonzalez's type of work ethic.

Caraballo has come a long way since working out in that vintage basement church gym with the blistering heat in East Providence. It's been a pleasure to watch her grow from a distance and evolve into a totally different player than she was not too long ago. Ariella's ball control, balance, prompt counters in the lane, poise and versatile shot-making ability have her as a top '30 player in not only RI, but in all of NE. She'll be under close watch next season at Moses Brown.
