With the state of high school sports right now, and student-athletes able to so easily transfer these days, throughout the Summer months there have been/will be several basketball transfers moving from one high school to another. I would like to take this time and identify a few that we recently learned about following the IBCA team shootout this weekend. Obviously, there are rumors out there, but we will not include any prospect in these articles throughout the Summer unless they have already updated their PGH profile, they have listed it on one of their social media accounts, we have seen them in action with their new school, or their high school coaches have told us.

Brynlee was in an Artesians uniform as both a Freshman & Sophomore, but she relocated to Monrovia this past season. With three other starters departing Monrovia, she has also found herself on the move...back to Martinsville. She has always been a long, wiry-strong, bouncy athlete with good end to end speed. She definitely has the potential to put up double-double type numbers in scoring and rebounding, and she continues to develop her all-around skillset in order to play facing the basket consistently. I think her best days are well in front of her, as a collegian, but she could have a breakout Senior year, too.

Katharine's transfer kind of flew under the radar, but it definitely made me take notice. She is one of the Class of 2028s better traditional point guard prospects. She understands how to run offense and get the ball where it needs to go, plus she can create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. She has some touch outside as well, but she never seems to force the action. More importantly, she's willing to do a lot of the "little things" to help her team(s) win games. She is a capable defender and a hard worker as well, so there's no doubt she'll be missed at Bloomington North in 2026-2027.

Dessi obviously isn't the biggest point guard in the class, but she has spent two years making plays and providing both a scoring punch and a defensive effort for Fort Wayne's Blackhawk Christian High School. She plays low and compact, and she loves to get out in transition and push the basketball up the floor. She can knock down an open rhythm jumper, but her entire game revolves around her ability to get into the paint and draw defenders in order to find open teammates. On the ball, defensively, she can hawk it everywhere, or she can hide in "help side" and pounce on errant passes.

Kodie put together a really nice rookie campaign at Franklin County High School, averaging 11.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per contest. She also played a variety of roles/positions, and at her size, she was able to match up defensively with different types of opponents. With the move, she joins a really nice East Central squad that has a talented point guard in [player_tooltip player_id='999426' first='Natalie' last='Stenger'] (2028) and a nice wing in [player_tooltip player_id='1263951' first='Lilly' last='Maple'] (2029), who she will be able to spend a couple of seasons helping them to a great deal of success. This could be one of the quietest but most impactful transfers.

Lorigrace was one of several talented Freshmen to impact Guerin Catholic High School's 2025-2026 season, and she is one of the better all-around guards in the 2029 class. With her move over to Carmel, she will compete with a talented and deep roster, including a trio of 2028 guards who are drawing varying interest from all levels of college basketball. Her ability to both shoot the ball from outside and play a traditional point guard role, should allow her the versatility to be an impactful backcourt player for the Greyhounds this coming season. She definitely helps their depth a great deal.
