Katharine’s transfer kind of flew under the radar, but it definitely made me take notice. She is one of the Class of 2028s better traditional point guard prospects. She understands how to run offense and get the ball where it needs to go, plus she can create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. She has some touch outside as well, but she never seems to force the action. More importantly, she’s willing to do a lot of the “little things” to help her team(s) win games. She is a capable defender and a hard worker as well, so there’s no doubt she’ll be missed at Bloomington North in 2026-2027.

I was able to see Katharine during a December holiday tournament, and I felt like she did a really good job of playing with nice skill, poise, and understanding, almost like she was actually a veteran guard. She handled pressure fairly well off the bounce, she was willing to run offense and find open teammates, but she also shot it well from each level. She is a balanced athlete, she plays with a motor, and she seems to enjoy playing the game.
