[player_tooltip player_id='934110' first='Gianna' last='Sodon'] is the No. 11 2029 prospect in our latest rankings. I was not as familiar with Sodon as with some other players, but I am impressed by what I have seen. Sodon's natural ability is off the charts, making it easy to see why she is so highly touted. She can score in a variety of ways. Sodon has a strong first step and can muscle her way past defenders to the hoop with her physicality. She is an outstanding 3-point shooter from every spot around the perimeter. Her signature move is a stepback jumper, which creates space on the perimeter in the mid-range or in the paint. Sodon's range is unlimited. She is a tireless rebounder who can score off putbacks in the lane and finishes well in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='968000' first='Kailey' last='Weber'] is the No. 22-ranked 2029 prospect in New York. I have seen Weber play several times, including recently at the Empire Takeover Summer Kickoff, where she had an incredible showing. Weber is a versatile player who can excel from multiple spots on the floor, and she had those skills on full display, turning heads every time she touched the ball. Weber is a lethal outside shooter, often connecting on shots from near the midcourt logo. Weber can score off the dribble with both the right and left hands. She understands how to move without the ball, which creates easy scoring opportunities in the paint, where she is a consistent finisher. Weber is a savvy defender fueled by her keen anticipation. Her size and length make her outstanding on the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='934564' first='Elizabeth' last='Kearney'] is the 31st-ranked 2028 prospect in New York, but should quickly shoot up the charts. Kearney is a tremendous shooter with superior form and mechanics. She can connect for 3-pointers from any spot on the floor consistently. She exhibits a very deep range as she routinely hits shots from well beyond the arc. Kearney runs the floor well and is a strong finisher in transition. She is an explosive scorer who can put a ton of points up in a hurry when she gets rolling. Her anticipation skills make her an excellent defender. Kearney also rebounds very well from the guard position. Kearney's play was a major factor in Bethlehem's run to the state sectional game this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1186447' first='Madyson' last='Brennan'] is currently ranked the No. 39 2028 prospect, and continues to climb. Brennan may be considered a power forward or shooting forward, but her skill set allows her to play positionless basketball. She could play the 2 or the 3 as easily as the 4 or 5 spots. She is a difficult matchup for defenses as she can score inside and out. Brennan has very good footwork and a complete set of post moves. She has the strength to power through contact to score in the paint from either side of the rim. Brennan has a smooth shooting touch in the mid-range and can extend her jumper behind the arc. She is very good in transition and can navigate through defenses off the dribble. Brennan's aggression and overall size make her a handful to contend with on the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1867247' first='Nayla' last='Macon'] is the 60th-ranked 2029 prospect in New York. The upside for Macon is unmatched. Macon has a tall, lanky frame coupled with superior athleticism, which makes her dangerous on both ends of the floor. Macon is a productive scorer in the paint. Her length and jumping ability allow her to grab offensive rebounds for putbacks. She runs the floor well and is an outstanding finisher on the break. Macon's ability to slice through the defense and finish at the cup makes life difficult for opponents. She can defend multiple positions, and her wingspan makes her an effective basket-protector. Macon is just getting started, but the sky is the limit for this extremely talented young player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1812283' first='Maddie' last='Chatt'] is currently ranked No. 74. Chatt plays for a Stillwater team that will be loaded next winter and should be considered one of the favorites for the Class C state title. Chatt has two more years to rise on the chart, and she likely will. Chatt is already one of the purest outside shooters in the state. She is equally effective splashing 3-pointers from the wing, corner, or top of the key. She has excellent footwork, an extremely quick release, and picture-perfect form. She can also score by beating defenders off the dribble, pulling up to hit midrange jumpers, or scoring in transition. Chatt is very good on the defensive end of the floor as well. She is an absolute bucket whose numbers I expect to rise next year as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1276548' first='Bella' last='Craig'] is right behind Chatt at No. 77 in the rankings, which is a compliment in itself, as she really started to attract attention during this year's sectionals. I have seen Craig play probably more than any other player, and every time I see she has new tricks up her sleeve. At the Empire Takeover Summer Kickoff, Craig unveiled a side-step, change of speed, explode to the basket move I had not seen her use before, to go along with her already quick first step. She is a relentless defender who creates turnovers and cashes them in for transition points. Craig is a polished shooter from all around the perimeter. She has a smooth touch on shots from 3-point range or around the lane. Craig is a challenge to stop when going to the basket in transition situations.
