Prospects to Note Before the Next Few Events

There are numerous grassroots programs from around the state, and it's nearly impossible to see them all. Today, we are looking at a handful of players I'd like to highlight before the grassroots season gets rolling again in a few weeks. In today's articles, we will look at some players who may be slightly under the radar, but might be worth making a note to see sometime this summer or in the future.    The Brookfield East guard/wing is a young prospect who has had her moments at the high school level in her young career. However, we will see more of her offensive game with [program_tooltip program_id='713043' first='Wisconsin' last='Impact'] because she will have an increased role in the spring and summer. She is a physical kid with the athletic tools to make things happen with the ball. However, like most kids who play in the Spartans program in high school, expect disciplined defense.     The Waunakee native comes from a talented basketball family, and the Meudt name has been a staple in the Warriors program for over half a decade at this point. Nora is a physical wing who competes on the defensive end and can handle defending up and holding her ground around the basket. She has also shown an ability to get downhill, put pressure on defenses, and finish around the basket.     The D.C. Everest forward will stand out because of her size, but there is skill there for her to work on. She is a physical player who has shown that she can play around the basket at the high school level and works hard to earn position in the paint. However, during her time with [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'], we've seen more of her ability to space the floor and knock down shots from the perimeter as a floor-spacing forward.     There is a chance Medema could be a steal once she gets to the next level. She has played behind some talented guards over her last few stops in grassroots basketball, and she plays at a small school away from most of the population hubs around the state. Medema is a player who can handle the ball, create space, and make things happen. She has a quiet confidence whenever she steps on the floor and is capable of swinging games at any moment, and could surprise people once she gets to the next level. Regional schools should see her before the end of July.
