There is a chance Medema could be a steal once she gets to the next level. She has played behind some talented guards over her last few stops in grassroots basketball, and she plays at a small school away from most of the population hubs around the state. Medema is a player who can handle the ball, create space, and make things happen. She has a quiet confidence whenever she steps on the floor and is capable of swinging games at any moment, and could surprise people once she gets to the next level. Regional schools should see her before the end of July.
Like most small-school players, Medema does a little of everything on both ends of the floor. She has become one of the focal points of the Rockets on both ends of the floor. Her ability to create with the ball in her hands is a crucial aspect for her team to compete. She shot the ball at a high level as a spot shooter and has had to create off the dribble at times. She will be a player who could land at a regional program and thrive.
