Sydney started out in the Batesville program but transferred over to East Central as a Junior this past season. She has a solid/strong frame, some length, and she runs the floor well. In fact, her motor and willingness to be physical is one of the first things you'll notice about her. At the same time, she has a good understanding of the game, skill facing the basket, and she can contribute in a variety of ways. I don't know that she'll ever score 25 points, but she will pursue rebounds, defend, handle it a little, make open jumpers, and finish around the basket. She's definitely an intriguing small college prospect.

Addie is another nice, versatile forward, and it's difficult to label her by position because she does a little of everything, and she helps her high school and grassroots teams in different ways. She has really nice length, a wiry frame, and solid all-around athleticism. She uses her height/length inside to rebound and defend, but she can also come out on the floor and defend wings. She handles it comfortably, she can knock down the mid-range jumper consistently, and she's starting to shoot the 3-pointer well enough to keep defenses honest. She can even initiate the offense from time to time.

As you can see, the trend with this group of power forward newcomers is they are all versatile. Caroline is another one who plays inside and out. She is a balanced multisport athlete, she is willing to be physical when rebounding and defending, but she can also find teammates in positions to score, plus she is an active defender who collects a lot of steals for her position. Offensively, she is really good operating through the mid-post, but she's starting to handle it and shoot it from outside more often. If she can consistently stretch her jump-shot to the 3-point line, she could be a problem.

Mia is one of those really nice small school forwards where everything runs through her. She has a fairly strong frame, she's willing to be physical, but she's also a solid athlete in most directions. She can put it on the floor productively, find open teammates, and even initiate the offense. She's best scoring it inside of 15-feet, and she understands leverage and how to score against height/length. Mia can also knock down the mid-range jumper consistently. Defensively, she'll play bigger than she is, she rebounds outside of her area, plus she can come out on the floor and defend wings.

Taylor is a bit under the radar, because she is a multisport athlete and doesn't play grassroots basketball. She is a really nice athlete in most directions, she can affect a game in different ways, and she plays with a nice motor. She is able to attack the basket from the mid-post, take smaller defenders to the low block and play over them, plus she has started to shoot it a little more consistently from the 3-point line. Defensively, she can take on wings and bigger guards around the perimeter, slow down forwards inside, or even match up against the occasional undersized post player.
