Every possession begins with their decision-making. As a result, coaches often trust experienced upperclassmen with the role. They have earned that responsibility over time. However, Virginia features several underclass guards ready for the challenge. In fact, some are already capable of leading an offense. Others are well on their way. She scores at the rim, from distance, and as a passer. Rather than forcing plays, she trusts her reads and timing. She is equally comfortable creating points or assists. Likewise, she pushes the break with confidence. In the half court, she stays poised and under control.
