Norman is a vocal leader and facilitator who handles the ball while communicating and keeping her team organized on the floor. Her effort carries over defensively and on the boards, where she battles for possession, guards the primary ball-handler, and uses her quickness to deflect and disrupt passes. She is speedy and athletic in transition, capable of turning a steal into a fast-break layup herself or finding a teammate for an easy scoring opportunity.

Brianna recently received an offer from UNC Greensboro. Last month, she competed at the Home Is Where The Heart Is event and put together a strong showing. Her athleticism especially stands out in the mid-range, where she can rise up over defenders for pull-up jumpers. That athleticism also translates around the basket, helping her finish effectively at the rim.

Defensively, she is technically solid and impossible to take off the ball using court vision, footwork, and angles to force the ball handler where she wants them to be. Norman projects as a force over the next three years in school.

Class of 2029 — Brianna Norman Brianna Norman 5'6" | PG Manor | 2029 State VA

As a freshman, Brianna Norman Brianna Norman 5'6" | PG Manor | 2029 State VA showed natural point guard instincts. She consistently keeps teammates involved in the flow of the offense. Additionally, she knows when to create her own scoring opportunities.

Moreover, Norman is a relentless defender with strong on-ball pressure. She plays bigger than her size and competes with toughness. She applies full-court pressure from baseline to baseline.

In addition, she refuses to give opposing guards any space. Furthermore, Norman brings fearlessness when attacking the basket. She impacts games in multiple ways on both ends.

However, her rebounding stands out as an underrated strength. She battles bigger players for loose balls and rebounds. That toughness separates her from many guards her age.

Now, Norman transfers to defending state champion Manor for her sophomore year. There, she joins another elite guard in a strong backcourt. Ultimately, this move should elevate her profile in Virginia’s Class of 2029.

Norman showcased the leadership of a true floor general, directing her teammates while reading the defense and creating scoring opportunities. She attacked the basket, finished with contact, pushed in transition, and found open teammates for easy baskets and kickout threes. She also competed on the defensive end, applying ball pressure, crashing the boards against bigger opponents, and turning steals into transition points.

Norman makes her presence felt with an aggressive style of play on both ends of the floor. She set the tone defensively by applying suffocating on-ball pressure, forcing turnovers, blocking shots, and challenging opponents at the rim regardless of size. Offensively, her tight handle, ability to navigate ball screens, and fearless downhill attacks allowed her to create quality scoring opportunities and finish through contact, making her one of the toughest guards to contain.

Norman understands the point guard position. She knows when to involve teammates and when to score herself. That balance separates her from many young guards. Additionally, she plays with confidence and poise.

Norman is surprisingly strong. She attacks through contact and finishes with either hand. Defensively, her strength makes ball handlers uncomfortable. She applies constant pressure and forces turnovers. Once the ball changes hands, her speed fuels the transition game. As a result, she quickly turns defense into offense.
