Both Milton Kimbrough and Bruno Corras have stayed the course and poured into their programs developing players to division one and all American status. [program_tooltip program_id='715208' first='Elevate' last='Elite'] hosted the scrimmage in a somewhat Round Robin format to include the 15U, 16U and 17U teams. She caught the ball on the move keeping the ball high and finishing with a soft touch. She was active using her athleticism to navigate the floor. She was hitting the three and attacking the basket. She was disruptive on the defensive end with constant pressure turning steals into transition opportunities. She used a variety of moves to finish at the basket from double pumps to reverses. I was watching her team play out of the half court set and she was in her range the entire play moving well without the ball. She will need to stay out of foul trouble as her services will be needed for long stretches. She plays multiple positions which was helpful as the 16U team was low on natural interior players. She has the awareness to leak out quickly after the steal for transition opportunities. However, Kai did do an individual workout for over an hour prior to the scrimmage starting and she was impressive. She showed the shooting consistency and accuracy that has landed her the number one shooting guard in the state. Her ballhandling and stamina will prove and asset as she is very capable at the point guard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
