Tink Butler | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Iris has good size and was able to use it effectively from multiple positions. She sliced the lane and had control catching and finishing on the move. She was very effective from beyond the arc showing confidence in taking and making multiple shots from beyond the arc with a quick release.

Look for Iris to make a major jump this summer—she can flat out score, and she does it in a hurry. In Saturday’s performance, she sparked GLP’s comeback, knocking down three of four from beyond the arc while also getting to the basket and finishing when it mattered most.
Defensively, her size gives her the versatility to guard positions 3 and 4, adding to her overall impact on the floor. As her confidence continues to grow, so will her role.
Iris is trending toward becoming the primary scorer for Sidwell Friends next winter, where her offensive firepower should take center stage.

Iris was one to the top shooters in the building and you noticed it in the warmups. She reeled off around thirteen 3-pointers in a row from the corner. When the game began the hot shooting continued and there wasn’t an off switch. She knocked down back to back three’s before the half and saved some for the next half. She has to be denied the ball and if she does get the ball, it would be a mistake to give her room to breath.

contributed in her freshman season for one of the best teams in the DMV, Sidwell Friends. She is a terrific spot-up shooter, and that is her most impactful contribution. She does a solid job putting the ball on the floor when teams run her off the line, and she is always important as a floor spacer.
