With so many teams in attendance and participating at the camp it would be difficult, almost impossible, to name all the players who led their teams in scoring in any individual game. These players consistently scored points, and a lot of them, for their teams over the course of the last two days. Each player scored the ball in their own unique style and their efforts are to be acknowledged.

Morris, who barely missed being ranked in the ESPN SportCenter Next Top 10 by one spot, is known for her ability to shoot the basketball at 6'3. There would be little to no debate nationally if evaluators were to asked who the best shooter in America over six feet is. Morris still got a lot of buckets for her South Forsyth team, but the majority not only came from inside the three point line. In fact, most of her points in the games I watched came in the painted area. She scored multiple time slashing with and without the basketball to the rim. Morris showed off more of her post up game scoring multiple times catching the ball with her back to the basket on the block. She also scored in transition on several occasions as the post players she was guarding on defense could not keep up with her speed and quickness on the break when her team got the ball. Morris is noticeably trimmer, something she has set as a goal for the Summer, but still possessed the strength that makes her such a matchup problem for opposing defenses. She was quicker and more explosive than I saw her during last year's high school season.

Gabby was one of, if not, the most prolific scorer by the numbers over the course of two days and had the performance of the camp in a close defeat to Etowah. Thomas finished the game scoring 37 points, including 9 made threes. She also got to the basket and her spots inside the three point line and did damage scoring the ball. She has a very quick release and does a nice job creating separation off the bounce. In the paint she used a variety of head and shot fakes along with excellent feet in the pivot position, again giving her the space she needed to elevate and finish smoothly. She has a very quick, short release on her shot making her extremely difficult to defend. Her shots from the perimeter were distributed equally from the corners, wings, and top of the key.

Sanderson had a very good game shooting the ball against an excellent Holy Innocents team early during the high school season, so her game I was somewhat familiar with. With the graduation and departure of Emily Jacobs she has been called upon and responded very well to being given a much bigger role for her team this Summer. She did a very good job running the point guard position and the wing for Woodstock knocking down shots from three point range and a few feet beyond on some attempts. Sanderson also got into the paint and scored at the rim or drew fouls and made a couple floaters in the game I watched. She is excellent shooting the ball off the catch or the dribble and her stock is way up after her performance at North Georgia as well as Milton earlier in the week.

For the better part of the games I watched Union County play, Regan had the basketball in her hands running the offense and generating points for the Lady Panthers. She was adept passing and scoring the ball both on the break and running the offensive sets called in by the bench in transition. She never got sped up, played at her pace, and did not turn the basketball over She showed very good range shooting the ball with consistency over the two days. She was equally effective getting to the basket and finishing over defenders and through contact. Regan has very good handles and flashed some nice ball handling combinations to create space off the dribble. She is a very athletic kid who had multiple highlight blocks to go along with her scoring and distribution of the basketball.

I am not sure what [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last='']' shooting percentage was at camp, but it had to be very high as she converted nearly every shot she took from inside the painted area. Those baskets came on a mix of plays called by Trlica and Bristol playing with a high motor and outworking players from the other teams Union County faced. [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''] did an excellent job freeing herself from her defender when she did not have the ball by staying in constant motion. [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''] showed good hands catching short, quick passes in tight quarters before finishing smoothly off the glass. She had multiple And One conversions at the rim driving and scoring and on offensive rebounds and put backs. Bristol was also able to sprint past her defender several times in transition resulting in uncontested lay ups. With four guards in the line up a lot of the time [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''] looked to be almost be playing like a stretch four on offense for the Lady Panthers. With her size, skill, and athleticism to accompany her versatility, [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''] is definitely a player to watch in the 2029 class.

Sav continued scoring the basketball at a very high clip and in a lot of ways, this time for her high school team, Etowah. At one point in the Spring Aparicio was the leading scorer for the entirety of Nike's 17U EYCL division playing with AEBL. In Dhalonega she was excellent finishing at the rim after creating space with her dribble and running off of down screens. Sav was also dangerous in the high pick and roll both pulling up off for short jumpers off the screens and curling of the screener for easier looks at the basket. She shot the ball very well from deep as per usual and got buckets in transition finishing at the rim and making her free throws from the line after being fouled. Aparicio is a skilled and intelligent passer running the show for her team. She looked like a quarterback distributing the ball to her talented teammates on both days with a conversion rate and no interceptions. Her play was rewarded by the North Georgia coaching staff as soon as camp concluded. She is one of the best and more under appreciated players in the 2027 class in the state of Georgia.
