These players may not have moved very far, if at all, but they is not a negative reflection on them or their recent play. The number of 2029 prospects in Georgia in our rankings nearly doubled, going from 60 to 100 players. With the introduction of 40 new kids, some players who were deserving of a move upward may have stayed where they are because a better player was introduced ahead of them. These players I have seen at multiple events and their consistency was key in maintaining their positions in the rankings with an influx of new players.

If it were almost any other state in America, [player_tooltip player_id='1226988' first='Peyton' last='Frazier'] would be my selection as the number one ranked prospect in the state. Peyton is in Georgia however and with [player_tooltip player_id='991134' first='Carib' last='Morris'] ahead of her, a likely McDonald's All American candidate in three years, it will be difficult if not impossible to surpass her. Frazier herself is very rare talent with similar traits to Morris. She moves like the wind and 6'3 and has the guard skills to go with her great size, length, and elite athletic ability. Frazier dominated games I watched for stretches multiple times this season in the post. She used spin moves and finished at the rim with ease. She also was taking and making shots consistently from the perimeter in games by season's end, a preview of what we have seen in the travel ball season on the 3SSB circuit with Team Elite Hubbard. Peyton is a player I am very familiar with and believe could also an All American in three years. In just over a month she has received offers from Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, and Princeton.

Paris finds herself in a crowded top ten with very high level players, somewhere she belongs. Her game is very similar to and reminds me of another outstanding young guard in Georgia in another class, [player_tooltip player_id='1275940' first='Saige' last='Walker']. Both players are excellent facilitating the ball and delivering it to their playmakers in scoring position while also being not only consistent but threats to score on all three levels themselves. Like Walker, Wilson is electric with the ball in her hands in the open court using her elite ball handling and peripheral vision to create SportCenter top ten-like plays on the regular. She has the ability breakdown defenders, often making them look silly, with 1-2 dribble combinations before leaving defenders behind her with her blazing speed. She is one of the quickest players in the state with or without the basketball as well.

Addie has had about a good a Spring and start to the Summer as anyone in her class in Georgia. She has spoken with Division and Division two college coaches recently as a result of her stellar play and received multiple invites to Elite Camps from schools on the same level. Harrell is an excellent slasher who has game-changing quickness to go along with her size and length. She is a weapon defensively, especially in the press, where her on ball defense and ability to anticipate and then jump in the passing lane and create steals has created havoc for opposing guards and coaches. The next step in Addie's development is a consistent jump shot from the perimeter. I am not saying she can't do it now, but her ability to take over games with the skills and physical gifts mentioned above, she has not had to prove it in the games I have seen.

Ellie, who is coming off winning a state championship with Marist, has had a very solid first half to the travel ball season with Team Elite Hubbard's 15U 3SSB team, a group which features several players on this list. Recently, Ellie drew praise for her performance at Peach Games and deservedly so. She is one of the better shooters in her class in Georgia and with the departure of Naismith Palmer of the Year, Kate Harpring, I expect Warren to get a lot more playing time and scoring opportunities for the War Eagles. At nearly six feet tall Ellie did a very good job being active in the paint and scoring opportunistic baskets from effort alone during the regular season. She showed an ability to score wither back to the basket and on quick finishes under pressure at the rim as well. Long term Ellie has the potential to be one of the better players in her class if she maintains her consistency in offensive development and getting quicker moving laterally.

I saw Kandyce only a couple of days ago at Milton with her high school team Sandy Creek, versus Woodstock and the first half of the Lanier game. Once thought of as a project with potential because of her height and length, the work Hopkins is putting in on her own is paying off. She has very soft hands and that was evident as she caught a few highlight reel passes from [player_tooltip player_id='899789' first='Morghan' last='Reckley'] that other players, especially posts, would not have been able to handle. When she caught the ball, Kndyce was decisive in her actions and quick getting the ball up to the rim or off the glass. On a couple plays she appeared to be implementing new post moves on the block. On one in particular she used a combination of a shot make and spin move where she nearly lost her footing but was able to gather herself before going up and over her shoulder and scoring on a quick baby hook. Defensively she blocked multiple shots while deterring several others. Players like her are rare at nearly 6'2 and possessing the ability to move. I think it will be sooner, rather than later, when Hopkins receives her first scholarship offer.
