[player_tooltip player_id='1616231' first='Ava' last='Welch'] (Higbee): A 5'8" guard who made an immediate impact as a freshman by earning Class 1 All-State honors. She was very effective when she went on the attack as she used her athleticism and quick first step to score in the lane. She also had a nice pull up jumper on the stop and pop. She was also disruptive on defense at the top of the full court press as she got plenty of deflections and steals.

Tinlee Jones (Knob Noster): A 5'10" athletic wing player who is the size of a forward but operates as a guard with her ball handling and playmaking on the perimeter. She was causing matchup problems with her perimeter skills and her height, which enabled her to go inside and score in the lane. She didn't mind drawing the contact when she attacked as she spent a good amount of time at the free throw line.

Jaylin Page (Slater): A 5'11" forward who has good height and a lot of potential to be a standout player of the future. She is a good passer from the high post, so you can run some good high-low sets with her out top. She also made some nice catches in traffic to finish off the glass. She covers a lot of ground on defense on the second line of the full court press and she also made some good rotations in the half court defense.

Aviana Early (Van Far): A 5'10" forward who did some very nice things inside at both ends of the court. She was very good at staking out her position inside for offensive rebounds and putbacks. She got the ball and kept it high before she finished. She also used her length to block and challenge shots in the lane. She also got assertive on offensive and made a nice drive along the baseline. She is a youngster who can develop into a very good player.

Paisley McClamroch (Maysville): A young point guard who will step into an even bigger role next season after having a solid freshman season. She has quickness and she can run the pick and roll effectively. She can turn the corner and get downhill or shoot it over the top and hit the 3-pointer. She also had some nice full court dashes off the dribble for layups. Her ball-hawking defense was also impressive.

Kylie Sinklear (Higbee): A young guard who was very good at making things happen with her high energy and constant hustle. If there was a loose ball to be had, chances were that she was going to get to it before anyone else. She always seemed be around the ball on defense. She would rotate over and get a deflection or a strip to cause a turnover.
