Reiswig, Whittaker Headline All-15U Southwest Region Selections

Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas and Missouri were all represented in the 15U division. Here are five players that stood out amongst the competition. She loves to get back to her left hand and uses an in-and-out move to navigate past defenders. Whittaker has great touch and went to a floater with high consistency when not shooting from the outside. She provides very god ball pressure to her opponents. Alexis routinely produced steals while also showing solid positioning and an understanding of help defense. Reiswig moves well laterally and shows good quickness on both ends of the floor. She sets the tone for [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] and is also a go-to ball handler when they need to get a quality possession offensively. She plays extremely hard and provides hustle and grit defensively. Kylynn can help alleviate pressure with her ability to handle the ball and make good decisions. She is an underrated offensive player that can finish around the basket. Herrman shows good quickness and loves to run the floor as well. The most impressive part of her game is her consistency. She provided [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] with a lot of versatility on both ends of the court. Defensively, she can guard multiple positions, while working hard to end possessions with defensive rebounds. Offensively, Hadley can handle the ball well, and is a very good passer. She looks to share the ball and find open teammates both ahead in transition, and in the half court. She can operate in both the mid-range and on the perimeter as both a scorer and passer. Carson knows when to attack and has a knack for drawing fouls when driving to the basket. She was able to get the the foul line at a solid rate and convert at a high level. The De Soto product also provides her team with extra possessions thanks to her effort and desire. Ward showed to have terrific touch inside the paint, while also battling for rebounds. She played a major role in the win over [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite']. This performance gave her the nod as our top post player in the 15U division. She does not need a lot of space to get her shot off and was one of the top 3-point shooters in the tournament. As a facilitator, she reads defenses well and is able to find open teammates when the defense collapses on her.
