28's and 29's That Shined Over the Weekend

These prospects made the most of the opportunity, showcasing their talent against high-level competition and proving they are names to keep an eye on moving forward.    Koko put together a big sophomore season and has continued to play at a high level throughout the spring and summer. She was money from long range in the game I watched, showing she can space the floor and be a reliable three-point threat. Koko also chased down rebounds with all her might and was locked in on the defense.     I wasn't able to see much of Kynadee due to schedule delays and games being pushed back, but I did catch a few minutes of her in action with Rockets Elite 2027. She runs the floor well and is very athletic for her size. Kynadee likes to get downhill and attack the basket with force. She is a good passer and her awareness on both really stood out to me.     Averi showed up in a major way while playing up with Ohio Champions UA Rise 16U. From raining spot-up threes to making plays on the defensive end, she delivered. Averi scored a combined 47 points on Days 1 and 2, helping lead her team to a 3-1 record. She even capped off the event by with a half-court heave at the buzzer in Game 6 against North Metro Elite, putting a stamp on some big performances throughout the weekend.     Betsy was another 2029 prospect who caught my eye at the Run 4 Roses. She is very long and can play multiple positions on the floor. Betsy has a good stroke from three and shoots the ball with confidence. I also liked her activity on the glass and the way she impacted the game both from the perimeter and in the paint.     Riley has great size and college-level length. She is an amazing three-point shooter, who can makes shots from all over the floor and I love how she comes off screens ready to fire. Riley shot an eye-popping 48.6% from distance, connecting on 2.2 triples per contest in her sophomore season. Expect her PPG average to increase as she will be the top option for Daviess County this upcoming season.     Adalynn did an really nice job commanding the offense as the primary ball handler. She showcased a solid handle and lightning-quick speed, easily creating separation off the dribble. Her energy was unmatched and she competed hard every possession.
