Notable 2030s Who Turned Heads at the Run 4 Roses

Prep Girls Hoops Kentucky has hit the ground running this spring and summer, evaluating 2030 prospects from across the state, and this class continues to prove just how special it is. Take a look at some of the rising freshmen who turned heads at the Run 4 Roses.    Ava competed at a high level for Kentuckiana Hoops 14U Gilliam at the Run 4 Roses. She was a force on the low block, displaying soft hands and catching nearly every entry pass thrown her way. Ava showcased exquisite footwork and scored efficiently with her back to the basket, converting at a high percentage around the rim. She also has tremendous playmaking ability for a post player.     McCracken County has another talented guard prospect to keep an eye on in [player_tooltip player_id='1827504' first='Willow' last='Burnett']. She's athletic and extremely fast with the ball in her hands, using her crafty handle to create space and turn the corner quickly off the dribble. Willow also takes pride in her defense, and is a fierce competitor on that end.     Juliana has the physical tools and versatility to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She demonstrated a nice shooting stroke from downtown and showed strong defensive instincts, using her length to protect the rim and challenge shots on the perimeter. Owensboro Catholic has produced its fair share of talented players over the years, and Juliana could be the next in line.     Layla has good size and plays much stronger than her build suggests. She can score from multiple levels and has a knack for finding pockets in the defense to attack. Layla does an excellent job of seeking out contact, either finishing through it or drawing fouls. She also shoots the ball well from the perimeter and is a good rebounding guard.     Bentley is a 2030 prospect who has been on our radar since the high school season, so it was great to finally get an in-person look at her. She's a talented shot creator and shot maker who finds ways to score with the ball in her hands and has the ability to put up points in bunches. Bentley played a key role in [program_tooltip program_id='1697550' first='Bluegrass' last='Breeze'] 2030 run to the Gold Bracket Championship game, scoring 49 points in total throughout the tournament.     [player_tooltip player_id='1697113' first='Brielle' last='Belcher'] is a name to know at Butler County High School. She's a knockdown three-point shooter with deep range and a quick-trigger release. Brielle can also put the ball on the floor, attack the rim, and does a solid job of creating opportunities for her teammates. She had her best game against Vogue's National 14U, finishing with 21 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals to help [program_tooltip program_id='1697550' first='Bluegrass' last='Breeze'] 2030 advance to the Gold Bracket semifinals.     Michaela put together an impressive showing at the Run 4 Roses while playing for IBC 14U Chambers Premier, helping her team finish as runner-up in the Platinum Bracket. She's a deadeye three-point shooter from deep who make shots both off the catch and on the move. Michaela also showed the ability to finish creatively around the rim and puts her teammates in position to score. She's another talented 2030 emerging from the Louisville area.
