Notables From the Badger Elite Camp: Part Two

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To start my week, I spent Monday and Tuesday at the Kohl Center for the Wisconsin Badgers' Elite Camp. Over the two days, I'd argue more talent walked in the door than there has in the previous three or four years I've attended the camps. I got to see some old faces who came from recent classes who are now playing for the Badgers, such as Teagan Mallegni, Adaline Sheplee, Giselle Janowski, and Leah Nordin, along with some of the most talented youngsters from the state and the region. She's not flashy and won't pop athletically. However, she controls the game and may have the best intangibles of any player I've seen come out of Wisconsin since my first high school season in 2021-22. Christian is a physical guard who may be at her best when playing through contact. She's a physically strong guard who plays hard every minute she's on the floor and plays without fear. She sees the floor well and reads defenses well as a lead guard. I also liked her poise when she picked up her dribble. She showed composure and utilized her pivot game to get her out of trouble and reset her team's offense a few times. She's a 6-1 forward with a solid frame and competes well around the basket. I also thought she moved well for her size and was comfortable getting up and down the floor in transition. There's plenty of room to develop her offensive skill set around the basket, but she does a lot of things well. There aren't many players, like Liabwell, who move as well as she does and have the motor she shows when she's on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
