Select Events Weekend – Utah Players Talent

One Utah team made the trip to Ohio this weekend and represented the state well. Competing against strong out-of-state talent, they put together an impressive showing and had several players who turned heads with their performances, proving they could compete on a national stage.

[program_tooltip program_id='1292942' first='E5' last='Select'] - U17

Once she gets her hands on the ball in the paint, she's incredibly difficult to stop. She finishes through contact, creates space around the rim, and consistently turns post touches into points.

Leah can be the deadliest shooter on the floor when she gets into a rhythm. If she's getting clean looks against this level of competition, expect her to light up the scoreboard during the high school season, where her shooting ability will be even more difficult for defenses to contain.

[player_tooltip player_id='796472' first='Abigail' last='Christensen'] - Had a 28 and 13 game against one of the best players in the country. If she continues on her current development path and grows into a 6-foot-4 wing who can handle the ball, attack off the dribble, and consistently knock down perimeter shots, she'll become a matchup nightmare and one of the most intriguing prospects in the state.

She can certainly shoot the basketball, but she's proving she's much more than just a perimeter scorer. A 17-rebound performance this weekend highlighted the growth in the other areas of her game, showing a willingness to battle on the glass and impact possessions beyond putting points on the board. As she continues to expand her skill set, she's becoming a much more complete player and a matchup problem on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='875195' first='Aaliyah' last='Sikander'] - Underrated floor general who can hit open shots and get an offense going.

[player_tooltip player_id='875188' first='Elena' last='Chiara'] - Shows her strength and wiggle on the ball. Plays with a high motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='950220' first='Kelcee' last='Rasmussen'] - Her overall talent on the floor keeps her on the floor.

[program_tooltip program_id='1292942' first='E5' last='Select'] - U15

Brayley impacts the game in just about every way possible. Her versatility allows her to defend nearly every position on the floor, and she embraces whatever matchup her team needs. Whether she's guarding on the perimeter, battling in the paint, or switching onto a different assignment, she competes with confidence and consistently makes winning plays.
