Six New Additions to the 2027 Class

I was able to get eyes on these six girls for this round of rankings. She is an energy giver off of the bench and makes it hard to sub back original starters after she gets into the game. She has no hesitation from three and has a quick release with good rotation. She can immediately change the game with her outside shooting. She is a good passer to both posts near the basket and guards for drive and kick opportunities. She is also a player who isn't afraid to dive onto the floor for loose balls.     I like the way Tessier plays.  She is another capable ball-handler and defender for the Titans.  Both of these will be needed for Dickinson Trinity to get back to the state tournament in 2027.  Here is what coach Scheeler has to say about Jordan: “Jordan is one of the most naturally athletic girls at Trinity.  Her biggest strength is her ability to play fast, but that also can be her biggest weakness at times.  As Jordan moves into her senior year, her experience over the years will pay off in the form of greater consistency.  Jordan is a streaky shooter, has a great first step, and is one of the better defenders in Region 4.  Her greatest strength is that she is fearless on the basketball court.  She projects to be a key player for the Titans next season.”     The Titans will have a lot of athletes on the floor next season. Schwindt is one of the better jumpers I have seen in Region 4. She utilizes her length defensively and is great at pursuing rebounds. I once again asked Coach Scheeler about his thoughts on one of his key returners. Here is what he had to say: “Mikayla served most of the season as our sixth man but worked her way into the starting lineup by the end of the season. She shot 36% from 3pt range in her junior season, and she'll likely get the green light from all over as a senior. Mikayla is a very solid offensive player. For her to reach her maximum potential, she'll need to work harder on defense and will have to play more physical. She does use her length to her advantage when it comes to rebounding. She's a smart player that watches a lot of basketball, so I see that really helping her out in her senior season.”     Izebele was an All-District selection during the 2025-2026 season.  She has a lot of upside and potential as a prospect.  She is a long 5'10 who moves well up and down the court.  Her long arms are incredibly disruptive on the defense end.  She is clearly one of the best defenders in her Region.  She jumps passing lanes for steals, moves well on air-time, can defend multiple positions, and can grab rebounds and lead the break.  She stretches the floor with her shooting ability.  Coaches should take a look at the small-town guard.     Alexa is someone who is going to be fighting for playing time next season. Century is one of the favorites to win the State Title, so the competition for playing time is going to be very tough. Who is going to play great defense? Who is going to knock down open threes? Who is going to get rebounds? Johnson is someone who could come in and fill those roles. She is a strong athlete and works hard at the little things. She is able to step out and knock down the three.     It seems like the Patriots will have tremendous depth at each position next season. Like Alexa, Bella is another athlete that will be battling teammates for playing time. She is a workhorse around the basket. She brings an edge to the court and has physical tools around the rim that make her an effective player. She is able to leverage her strength for offensive and defensive advantages. Her soft touch around the rim is something her coach and teammates will appreciate.
