The Battle for the Sunflower tournament has certainly brought out a litany of highly skilled players to the court. Here are five athletes who stood out among the rest in their own unique ways. Immediately when the game began, you could see the enthusiasm radiating off of her face, with her beaming smile and her constant hyping up of her teammates. Several times, Hadlee could be seen clapping and cheering on her fellow players, keeping the team morale high.   Her footwork is stellar. Hadlee expertly combined balance, grace, and poise to land her movements every single time; it was comparable to watching a ballerina glide across the court. Every time she prepared to shoot, every time she zigzagged around her opponents, every time she geared up to pass, Hadlee constantly kept her footwork polished, precise and never once did she lose her footing.     Elite ball handling ability, expert faking, and perfect balance. These are the three tenets of the sport that [player_tooltip player_id='1879460' first='Abrianna' last='Torres'] completely embodies. When Jane had possession of the ball, good luck trying to get it away from her; this girl kept the ball in play like there was no tomorrow. Abrian She would thunder down the court all while dribbling the ball ferociously without ever losing control. Now Abrianna couldn't have such expert ball handling without her beautiful balance. Whenever she was sprinting down the court, taking a stance to shoot, or gearing up to fake, Abrianna always kept impeccable balance and never once slipped up.   Let's talk about this girl's expert faking skills. There were several points in the match where she executed several successful fakes, but let's discuss one in particular in the middle of the match. Abrianna was racing down the court with the ball in possession; just as one of her opponents was gaining on her, she knew she would have to make a pass. As her opponent began to block, Abrianna held the ball to her left for a moment, only to jerk the ball to her left and toss it to her teammate.       [player_tooltip player_id='1879411' first='Porsche' last='Olson'] didn't come to mess around; she came here to win, and her gameplay shows it. She's competitive, she has excellent passing abilities, and she seemingly never runs out of steam. From the moment she stepped on the court, Porsche made her presence known by taking control of the ball right away and keeping it in possession. She sped down the court as she expertly dribbled the ball with both of her hands without issue. As Porsche neared her opponent's basket, her rivals were closing in on her; she then made a quick and precise pass to one of her teammates who was on her left.   Porsche's competitiveness and stamina were on full display during the entire game; she always knew the right moments to push herself and when to conservative energy. Never once was Porsche seen taking long breaks or slacking off; she was locked in from the start and always had the energy to keep up. During one stretch of the match, the opposing team lost control of the ball; that's when Porsche stepped in. She immediately took off after the ball and was able to recapture it just before it rolled off the court, despite her opponents trying in vain to recapture it alongside her. This is just one of the instances where Porsche's competitive spirit was on full display.       [player_tooltip player_id='1686374' first='Laura' last='Lynn'] is undoubtedly the hoop queen for her team; standing at 5"6 she is the one of the tallest members of her team. Laura can shoot like a pro; she has fantastic communication skills, and it's obvious that she possesses much knowledge of the sport.   Early on in one of the matches, Laura skillfully recaptured the ball away from her opponents and was sprinting down the court. As she approached the opposing team's basket, she lined herself up in perfect positioning, took the shot and scored. During several points of the match, Laura could be seen directing her teammates into prime positions for optimal scoring chances. At one point in the game, Laura communicated to one of her teammates to block one of their rivals who had the ball and was looking to shoot. Laura's teammate responded and executed a successful block. Every move Laura made on the court was made with much thought and precision, never once did she make a misstep or loose her footing.       [player_tooltip player_id='1880061' first='Cennedey' last='Corbin'] is precise, poised, and consistently gives her all to the sport. She expertly balances grace with pure raw strength. Something that makes Cennedey stand out is how she interacts with her opponents; she doesn't go out of her way to be aggressive, and yet she is still able to deliver a powerful performance, which is rarely seen on the court.   One area Cennedey particularly excels in is blocking. At one point in the match between her team, J&E Elite, and the opposing team, the Prime Time 303 Elites. Cennedey quickly positioned herself directly in front of her opponent, who had possession of the ball, and immediately extended her arms into the air, causing her opponent to become disoriented and unable to make a clean pass. Instead, her rival fumbled the ball, resulting in one of Cennedey's teammates recapturing the ball. Not only is she a wonderful blocker, but she also possesses near-expert-level footwork. Cennedey would quickly weave in and around her opponents with such speed and agility that they never had a chance to trip her up. Never once did she lose her balance, never once did she make a misstep, and she never once gave up.
