What jumps out most about Kalei is that she wasn't simply getting varsity experience as a freshman—she was already one of West Jordan's most productive players. She knocked down more than 30 three-pointers in her first high school season, and her summer play has continued to show that same level of production. What has changed is her improved handle and ability to read the floor. If that development carries into the high school season, Kalei's next jump could come as a playmaker and creator rather than simply as a scoring threat.

Leah's pressure defense, toughness, and quickness give her the tools to be a potential sophomore breakout. She's one of those players whose high school stat line hasn't quite caught up with what we've seen from her on the floor, making her an easy name to include in the underrated conversation. With Riverton graduating some important backcourt experience, there should be more opportunity for Leah to earn minutes and a larger role. She'll still be competing for touches with a talented group of guards, including fellow 2029 [player_tooltip player_id='1897070' first='Lily' last='Jones'], but the opportunity is there for Leah to make her own mark this season.

Halle's point-of-attack defense may be her calling card. She's a defense-first point guard who makes up for her size with quickness, anticipation, and toughness, consistently pressuring opposing ball handlers. She creates steals and tie-ups, battles for rebounds at an impressive rate for her size, and doesn't shy away from physical play. On the offensive end, she handles pressure well and keeps her eyes up, always looking to distribute and involve her teammates.

How underrated is [player_tooltip player_id='1897070' first='Lily' last='Jones']? Underrated enough that we had to add her to our rankings roster after what she showed as a freshman. She put together a notable first high school season, including several double-digit scoring performances that showed a glimpse of her offensive potential. Riverton will be looking for new players to step into bigger roles and provide some leadership this year, and Lily could be exactly the kind of young talent they need. With more opportunity and another year of development, she has a chance to make a much bigger name for herself this season.
