The Expo Wish List: Uncommitted 2027 Point Guards I’d Love to See

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Expo is set for Saturday, September 26th in Grand Rapids, and with college coaches expected to be in attendance, it will be another great opportunity for prospects to compete and get valuable exposure. There is already plenty of talent on the attendee list, but there are still some uncommitted 2027s I would love to see added to the mix. She is lightning quick with the ball in her hands, and her explosive first step allows her to turn the corner, get downhill, and put immediate pressure on the defense. Marissa can also make defenses pay from the perimeter, showing the ability to knock down shots from deep and giving defenders another thing to account for. On the other end, she is a tough defender who can apply pressure and make opposing guards work. With her quickness, ability to stretch the floor, and competitive play defensively, Marissa has tools that could translate well to plenty of programs at the next level. She brings a nice combination of perimeter shooting, playmaking, and the ability to create off the bounce. Katelyn has shown she can confidently knock down shots from beyond the arc, which forces defenders to close out and opens up opportunities for her to attack. She can take advantage of those closeouts, get past her defender, and finish at the rim. Katelyn also sees the floor well in transition and has shown the ability to deliver passes that put her teammates in position to score. She plays with great pace and has the shiftiness and handle to create separation and get by defenders off the bounce. Once she turns the corner, Jordynn is quick to get downhill, where she can put pressure on the defense and force it to react. She brings plenty to the defensive end as well, competing hard on the ball and making opposing guards work for clean looks. She brings confidence and poise with the ball in her hands and has the offensive versatility to make defenses pay in different ways. Myah is a legitimate threat from beyond the arc, showing she can knock down open looks as well as extend her range and connect from well beyond the three-point line. She also has some craft to her game when she gets inside, using footwork and counters to find ways to finish through traffic. She plays with poise, handles the ball with confidence, and makes smart decisions while keeping the offense organized. Emma can get downhill and put pressure on the defense, but she is just as comfortable creating opportunities for her teammates with her court vision and passing ability. She also impacts the game defensively, using active hands and toughness to disrupt opposing guards and create turnovers. Point guards who can run a team, make the right reads, and contribute on both ends bring plenty of value, and Emma has those qualities.
