Jordynn made a huge splash after joining the Avondale backcourt as a junior. She received OAA All-League honors, averaging 21.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. Jordynn was a top performer when I watched her play against Clarkston in the playoffs. She stood out again at the Grassroots Spring Opener, impressing Danyle with her disruptive defense and three-point accuracy. Jordynn picked up offers from Macomb CC, Lansing CC, and Wayne CC.

Jordynn, a guard for Michigan Crossover, put together a strong performance at the Grassroots Spring Opener, making her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She was disruptive defensively, anticipating passes, getting into passing lanes, and creating problems for opposing guards throughout the day. On the offensive side, she found her rhythm from deep, knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc. With her two-way impact and confidence, Jordynn looks poised for a big spring and summer on the AAU circuit.

Jordynn, a guard for Michigan Crossover, is coming off an impressive high school season where she earned all-league honors at Avondale while averaging 21.4 points per game. She has a tight handle and keeps the ball on a string, allowing her to create space and score from all areas of the floor. Her shiftiness makes her difficult to stay in front of, and she pairs that with a competitive edge on the defensive end, where she takes pride in guarding the ball. Jordynn’s all-around scoring ability and toughness will be on full display this weekend as her team competes in the Grassroots Spring Opener in Grand Rapids.

Jordynn looks to have found a home at Avondale, and she’ll be an exciting point guard prospect to watch in their backcourt next season. Jordynn had the ball on a string in the District 27 semifinals. She changes speeds, uses a variety of dribble combinations, and maintains her balance to shoot or drive at any moment. Jordynn absorbed contact after a hard drive to the hoop for a layup and converted an off-platform veer finish on another determined drive. One of her best plays happened when she created space with her shoulder, stopped on a dime, and swished a corner three in rhythm. She used a shifty inside-out dribble up top to create the space needed to bury another smooth jumper off the bounce. Jordynn dished out a nice bounce pass to a cutter for an assist and tied the team lead with 17 points.

Ratliff made noise at the Prep Girls Hoops Freshman Showcase last year. There’s no doubt that she could do the same at The Expo this fall. She’s a balanced shooter, even when pulling up on the move. I’d call her an athletic shooter that defenders have to always be prepared for. Ratliff plays solid low base perimeter defense.

Ratliff is an exciting young player with a bright future in basketball. She can get out in the open floor and push the ball off the bounce, while finishing at the rim with solid body control. Ratliff is terrific off the catch and shoot from the wings. She’s a 2 way player that will stop the ball with physicality and quick feet and will take charges.

is an upcoming CG for West Bloomfield to be excited about. She used a jump stop step through finish and hit another step back jumper in transition. Jordynn dribbles confidently using both hands and will continue to develop her poise as she plays Varsity level minutes this season.

Jordynn is one of a couple left-handed CG’s who made an impact on Sunday. She has unique downhill speed, quickness, and strength to get buckets at the rim. Jordynn creates problems for defenses because she has exceptional skills to use step backs and retreat dribbles into a balanced pull-up position. She hit a deep wing 3-pt shot and if the defender gives her space she will pull up and hit the jumper in transition. Jordynn will be an exciting prospect to see develop in the West Bloomfield program. Read more here.

is a very exciting prospect for West Bloomfield. She excelled on both ends of the floor, but her defense definitely contributed towards team success. Jordynn is built to apply ball pressure: she’s stocky and strong. Jordynn picks up the ball full court and has lightning reflexes with her hands and lateral slides to redirect opponents and force them to pick up their dribble. She steals the ball and then gets downhill with authority to finish plays using either hand. Jordynn has a dazzling behind the back snap and range to hit long 3’s. She’s left handed but you wouldn’t know it by how she finishes at the rim. Jordynn played elite basketball on both ends of the court and her defensive performance deserved to be recognized. Read more on her performance Sunday here.
