Who Could Impress at the PGH Sophomore ID Camp?

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">At the Sophomore ID Camp, we'll be scouting and evaluating some of the talent entering year two. At this stage, we've already had opportunities to see many of these prospects, which makes this event a chance to see what has changed since their freshman year. For me, it's about seeing where they've developed, what parts of their game have taken another step, and where there's still room to grow. She never stays in one place for too long and is constantly in motion, finding different ways to get herself involved in possessions. Defensively, she brings that same activity and awareness, whether she's applying pressure, disrupting actions, or simply being in the right place. I'm excited to see what her game looks like when she has the opportunity to be the primary focal point.     At last year's Freshman Showcase, Estabrook was one of the top talents throughout the entire event. Her ability to score while still playing within the flow of the game stood out. Heading into this event, I'd love to see how she plays off the ball and how she finds ways to impact possessions when she isn't the primary focus offensively.     Corry makes things happen with the ball in her hands, and when you have the type of handle she has, staying in front of her is not the easiest task. What makes that even tougher is her ability to shoot, which constantly puts the defender in an uneasy spot. You can't guard her too close, but you can't give her too much space. Between her dribble and her creativity, Corry could easily have a couple of highlight moments at this event.     There is a solid foundation in place when it comes to Sweeney's skill set, and she shows that on both ends. The handle is solid, and she does a good job of finding and hitting angles while also being able to finish through contact. Her shooting is another key part of her game that adds some separation, whether she's creating her own look or getting set for a catch and shoot.     Engler is up for a big sophomore year for her high school program and could play a valuable number of minutes on varsity. Individually, she's in the conversation of top talent in her class, and it's due to how wide-ranging her skill set is at this age. She's a legit three-level scorer, a playmaker, a strong ball handler, and has the length to guard the perimeter at a high level. Wouldn't surprise me if she ended up being one of the all-event selections.
