2026 PGH IA Expo Preview: Five More Eye-Opening Guards To See

TeBockhorst has been a stud the last year within her play on the high school Varsity court and on the AAU scene on the road. She consistently demonstrates that she can lead whatever team she is on when the rock is in her possession. Whenever you have a prospect at a smaller school, you have questions about what she can really do when times get tough and TeBockhorst has proven that she can compete in those moments. She is a smaller PG listed at 5'6, who competes with some skill and a lot of positivity. Whenever you are smaller, you have to have the energy to keep things balanced out and Ambers has demonstrated that. You have to get to your spots quickly, make important decisions in small amounts of time, and think about the results later down the line. Whenever we have seen Amber compete she has been someone to note on both ends of the floor. Spivey is a small, heady type of Guard. She makes plays in her head before it even translates to the floor and that just speaks to her mental aptitude as a competitor. She visualizes success and then she makes it happen. This skill is going to help her go some places. Not just in this game of Basketball but in life. Now we just have to see how she applies it in real time to her play-style as she comes down the floor. Robbins-Sanchez is a lengthier SF/CG. She has been placed near the hoop more-so because she has been a taller individual on the floor most of her life but she also has some Guard-skill hidden that is looking to peak out over these next two years. M.R.S. could be someone that plays an influential role within her program with the right guidance. McCorkle, little sister of current Houston PG, Alyvia McCorkle - will have a chance to be better than big sis. That's usually how this goes. Whenever you have a younger sibling, they turn out to be better than the older one most of the time because they sit behind them, spectate, and learn from afar for years before ever picking up a ball. Viv is the first 2031 with a D1 offer in Iowa and from what I'm being told, she will be a Varsity participant this Winter as an 8th grader so now we get to see how far ahead of her Age level she is in reality. This is someone that is going to be in the conversation for Top Five out of the 2031 Class when it comes to the Rankings moving into this Winter - now we just have to see where she falls within that LOADED group. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
