The speed and quickness of Ambers is what makes her a tough player to stay in front of on any floor. Ambers is going to be looked upon to make some winning plays over the next few years at DSM Roosevelt High School with the turn over they will have from their upperclassman graduation as of recent. She has had the ability to learn from another like guard playing in front of her the past couple of years so I’m sure she has picked up some tricks throughout.

An elite dribble, spectacular vision, and an act for making something happen out of no where. Theses are just some of the skills and intangibles that

of Hoover High School possesses moving into her Sophomore season. Amber is also very dedicated to her craft. She is a relentless worker and we see that because of the skill side of the game that she brings to the floor. Ambers was her team’s source of production in a lot of ways last year as a Freshman but she is ready to take it up a notch from there. She is ready to show the state that no one can stick in-front of her in the open court and that she is a dawg defensive. If she can do that, she is going to love the results that follow in the very end.

From looking at the upcoming roster for Des Moines Lincoln High School, it wouldn’t surprise me if CG, Chere Amber see’s the floor in moderation this upcoming season. Amber is a 5’5 guard with a quick dibble, shifty body movement, and knowledge of when to do what. When she is moving down the floor, she keeps her dribble below her knee’s at all times, making it almost impossible for defenders to reach at and helping her control everything. She uses this dribble to do a consistent job of looking for shots for herself from all three offensive levels or she can pass it to an open teammate if the opportunity presents itself. It’ll be fun to see who steps up out of the 2028 Class this season throughout Iowa. If Amber gets a chance, I’m sure she will put up some noteworthy numbers.
