Flagler Fall Camp: More Prospects Who Made an Impact- Part 1

In this article, we continue our coverage of the Flagler Fall Camp by highlighting more prospects who made an impact and left a strong impression. The camp featured one-on-one, three-on-three, and small-sided games that provided opportunities to evaluate players in different situations. These prospects separated themselves through their athleticism, basketball IQ, floor spacing, ball-handling, and ability to contribute on both ends of the floor.    [player_tooltip player_id='743519' first='Kaylana' last='Little'] was one of the standouts at the Fall Camp. Little showed good handles, speed, and impressive point-guard skills. She advanced the ball well, attacked going left, and finished nicely at the rim. She spaced the floor and handled the ball effectively. What stood out more than anything was her selfless play. She looks to move the ball ahead and put the defense at a disadvantage as soon as possible.     [player_tooltip player_id='1919547' first='Ja'niya' last='Poole'] She was impressive throughout the camp, and what really stood out was her athleticism and her fluid movements. She attacks the rim and looks in control when doing so. She got to the rim consistently and finished some very crafty shots. Poole also used her quickness on the defensive end as well. Based on how she played, Poole is poised for a breakout season this upcoming season.     [player_tooltip player_id='1824894' first='Laura' last='Telke'] turned heads with her performance at the Flagler Fall Camp. She handled the ball well, consistently got into the paint, and finished at the rim while also showing the ability to score from the perimeter. Telke won the camp's one-on-one competition, using a quick first step to beat defenders and create favorable scoring angles. With her length, skill set, and versatility, she looks capable of playing multiple positions from the one through the four. The scary part is that Telke still has a lot of upside and room to grow s a player.     Valerie Ward played well, and what really stood out was her competitiveness on the floor. Ward showed athleticism, had very good handles, and attacked the rim and scored. Ward showed a nice-looking shot and very good point guard instincts. She averaged over 2.5 assists per game last year, and judging by her performance at the camp, her assist numbers should go up in her sophomore campaign.     Reese Burch was one of the most impressive underclassmen in the building. Burch brought the energy and the execution. Her poise, ball-handling, and versatility stood out. Burch got to the rim, scored in the midrange, and also showed she could score from the perimeter. Burch showed great leadership with the ball in her hands and was impressive in transition.     Ava Holland was smooth and fluid and just player game at the camp. She handled the ball well, and her game just look effortlessly on the floor. Holland ran the break well, distributed the ball well, and showcased a smooth midrange shot. Holland defended well and used quickness to stay in front of the ball handlers. She made an impact and is poised for a breakout season.
