Reese Burch was one of the most impressive underclassmen in the building. Burch brought the energy and the execution. Her poise, ball-handling, and versatility stood out. Burch got to the rim, scored in the midrange, and also showed she could score from the perimeter. Burch showed great leadership with the ball in her hands and was impressive in transition.

Always ready for the catch-and-shoot, Reese delivered 3 bombs around the arc. She plays to her strengths well and knows she has a canon from 3, so she is constantly moving off the ball to gain position for a quality look, with or without ample space. Oozing with confidence!

Burch has established a rising profile primarily because of her 3-point shooting prowess. She managed to greatly help her Carolina Hornets 16U team as it put together a dominant performance against Carolina All In 16U in the early portions of Sunday’s LBI Summer Showcase. To say that the 2025-26 season was a rollercoaster ride for North Lincoln was an understatement, but it still resulted in a 5A state championship. Burch previously played her middle school ball at North Lincoln MS and her travel career has also included a stint with Lake Norman Lightning. She averaged 11.7 points last season and played in all 30 contests in 2025-26 for the Knights.
