Inside Team 2 at The Expo

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Expo was the only fall event in the state dedicated to upperclassmen, bringing together some of the state's top players, along with others still working to gain more visibility. The competition stayed high throughout the event, giving players another chance to compete, get footage, and make an impression. Team 2 had a good mix of players who found different ways to impact the game throughout the day.</h3>    Always in the right position, and that's on both ends of the floor. She plays lower the ground and is always aware of whats going on around her. One of those players that can be plugged into a susytem and find a way to fit.     Feisty, handsy, and as relentless as they come, the amount of energy she plays with never stops. She backs down to no one, regardless of stature, and that same aggression shows up on the rim attack as well. She isn't afraid to shoot it either. One of my favorite kids to watch. Will be a strong piece for St. Ignatius this season.     An on-ball pest who can cause a lot of problems for her matchup, but can also bring the ball up and run things from the top of the floor. She had a couple of injuries today, but each time she got back up and got right back on the court. Says a lot about the fight and heart she plays with.     The versatility and pure strength have always been some of my favorite things about Isabella. Her pace of play is one thing she's gotten better at, and as she continues to work on her outside shot, a college program will definitely benefit from having her.     A long range player who can defend both on the perimeter and in the paint, while also being able to shoot the long ball. She's highly mobile as well and could be a key piece to how successful York is this season. I'll definitely be watching her more closely as the season gets going.     A heads up guard who keeps the game flowing. She can play both on the outside and drive to the rim. As her ball-handling improves, her ability to finish at the rim through contact will be key to how much of an impact she can have on Montini.     Her overall skill set is well beyond her age. She's smooth, patient, and plays with a pace that can't be matched. Can get to the rim with a couple of dribbles and has no issue handling the pressure from defenders. Won't be surprised if she has a big junior year this upcoming season.     Always one of the more impressive players on the court, Dzik has a natural feel and flow to her game. She's a legitimate three-level scorer who can create her own shot, but she can also play a role within a program. That versatility, along with her natural feel for the game, shows all the signs of a college prospect.     Good feel and touch for the ball. Can stretch the court at a high level, but can also handle the role as a primary facilitator. She has added to her skill set over the past couple of years and should be a major focal point for her program this season.
