PGH Expo: Team 2 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PGH Washington Expo was a massive success this year. We had over 100 athletes attend, which set the record for most athletes at the Expo. Here is the team evaluation for team 2.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#27 - [player_tooltip player_id='985973' first='Fiona' last='Helms'] - Holy Names Academy</strong></em> - Fiona has phenomenal fundamentals and they showed throughout the day. She does a great job moving off ball, cutting through the paint to get open looks. She plays off two feet when working in the paint and attacking the ball, being able to finish through contact. She knocked down shots throughout the day too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#56 - [player_tooltip player_id='1918734' first='Braelyn' last='Snyder'] - Mount Vernon HS</em></strong> - Braelyn used her size, standing 6'1”, to her advantage throughout the day. In 3v3 play, she spaced the floor well and attacked with both hands efficiently. Snyder plays really strong defense, being able to out-body players and grab rebounds at a high level. She continued to bring the energy all day and is a 2029 who could make a big impact for her high school team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#63 - [player_tooltip player_id='1901258' first='Soule' last='Robinson'] - Garfield HS</strong></em> - Soule was one of the top performers of the day due to her amazing hustle and relentless ability to get downhill to get buckets. Robinson used her length during 5v5 play to attack gaps in the defense and be able to finish at a high level around the rim. She has a smooth jumper too, being able to knock down mid-range shots if left open.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#95 - [player_tooltip player_id='1309406' first='Savannah' last='Jeannot'] - Bellevue HS</em></strong> - Savannah was another standout from the showcase. She was excellent during 3v3 play, being able to use her dribble to create space to get buckets or make the extra pass to an open teammate. Her quick crossover stayed effectively during 5v5 play too as she easily got by opponents to get to the rim and get buckets. Her mid-range game is unique and she can easily hit fade-away jumpers over defenders by using her length. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#257 - [player_tooltip player_id='1696859' first='Emmerie' last='Walcolm'] - Skyline HS</em></strong> - Emmerie is a current 2030 graduate and she did a great job competing against the upperclassman. She showcased her strength in the paint, easily grabbing rebounds and being able to go up strong right away through contact. She attacked the bucket nicely from the perimeter too, having nice handles and being able to use her body to get open looks down low.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#304 - [player_tooltip player_id='1312298' first='Jaliyah' last='Dyson'] - Edmonds Woodway HS</strong></em> - Dyson was easily one of the best defenders throughout the day. She rarely allowed a bucket while defending the top talent from the state of WA. Her defensive ability leads to easy buckets for her and her teammates but her offensive ability also stood out. She handles the ball nicely, using screens at the right angle all day, getting by defenders and getting paint touches. She's a player to keep an eye on throughout this upcoming season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#354 - [player_tooltip player_id='1310075' first='Londyn' last='Henderson'] - North Thurston HS</strong></em> - Londyn was able to knock down shots from deep throughout the day with ease. She was great during 3v3 play, making quick decisions that led to easy buckets for herself and her teammates. During 5v5 play, she played great defense, keeping opponents in front of her and causing havoc. She utilized her quick first step to blow by defenders when attacking as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
