PGH Wisconsin Freshman Showcase Team 6 Evaluations: Part One

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another PGH Wisconsin Freshman Showcase is in the books. About 90 players made the trip to the Champions Center, and plenty of notable players stood out. We will look at the 5v5 teams and discuss what each player brought to the table when I saw them play. I'll highlight a few players later because of number changes and to make sure I know who I noted. Yarco is a skilled finisher around the basket and has plenty of poise offensively. I also liked her ability to play on the perimeter and space the floor as a shooter. The future Dominican Knight showed plenty of skill with the ball. She was one of the most impressive drivers in the building, and her ability to finish through traffic was impressive. She is a creative player who can make something happen at any time. Morris is a smaller two-guard who's at her best when given the freedom to hunt her shot. She has the skill to swing a game in a few possessions and has the confidence to compete at a high level right away. However, I liked her willingness to slot into a lower-usage role and still stay engaged for every second she was on the floor. She moved her feet well on the perimeter and moved well laterally as a perimeter defender. I thought she showed an ability to play multiple roles as a two-way player, and her potential was on full display.
