The 2030 Wave: A New Brand Of Basketball Is Coming

This preparation has been going strong for the past couple of years, with many of them competing at a high level across various circuits. Don't think that any of these kids are trying to come in and just play a role. No, they are coming in to be big-time contributors as their programs look to take the next step towards postseason contention.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These 2030s are kids who really don't rest. One thing for sure about them: these young ladies bring talent, work ethic, and passion into the fold, and they are ready to step up in a mighty big way. Some of these young ladies even got a taste of what high school ball was like last season as an eighth grader. Some, though this may be their first go-around, are equipped to handle the rigors of playing the game at this level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This class will be an interesting one to follow for sure. They have size, can shoot, defend at a high level, and really play an exciting brand of basketball. We are going to have many girls in this class who will go play collegiate basketball one day. She's a heady floor general who's a solid ball player on both ends of the court. One who can run an offense efficiently, shifty, she can get to various spots on the floor and exploit them. From knocking down shots to dropping dimes to teammates, she is a selfless ballplayer who brings it every second she is on the floor. She has a knack for attracting double teams once she hits the paint. Dump here. Kick out there. She hits the open teammates and tallies many assists. It doesn't stop there. She's solid on the defensive end where she pokes and prods balls loose. Keep tabs on this young lady as she suits up for Tullahoma. She's a kid who can put the basketball in the net from multiple levels. She can create off the bounce or catch-and-shoot; she just has a knack for filling it up. She's extremely good from the perimeter. A kid who can swing momentum at any given moment. She will look to contribute right away for a Brentwood program on the rebound. Look for her to come in strong and showcase her talents day one. This kid wasn't afraid of the lights as an eighth grader, and she will be looking to build upon a solid foundation as she takes on her freshman campaign. She's the truth. This kid can do it all. She can score both inside and out, grab rebounds, defend at a high level, and block shots. Side note: this kid is still growing! Expect her to get taller along the way. A talented ball player who could play the one through five, you better believe she's gonna make her presence felt on both ends of the floor. Keep tabs on this young lady for sure. Don't be surprised when her high school career is up that she has set multiple school records. She's a Swiss Army knife and can do it all. The type of kid that just rolls up her sleeves and Plays; she's going to give it her all on both ends of the floor. She's a selfless ball player who is a multi-level scoring threat. She can attack gaps to score or kick to open teammates, as well as bury her head down and challenge an opponent at the rim. She's a solid defender who wants to guard the other team's top player. What I love most about her is her ability to contribute across multiple statistical categories. It's not about the glory for this young lady. She plays the game because she loves it, puts her head down, and works hard at her craft. One who can knock down three balls, as well as slice to the rim, she's going to find a way to put the ball in the bottom of the net. One thing people tend to sleep on is her defensive ability. She's a solid on-ball defender, picking people's pockets, but she's also a great anticipator who will jump the Lane to intercept the pass and head the other way. She's going to be an asset to her school in the coming years. One who's going to give it her all every time she steps onto the floor and put on a show.
