She’s a Swiss Army knife that competes at a high level. She just balls-out and brings a solid two-way game to the party. She can knife through defenses and knock down shots from multiple spots on the floor. What impresses me the most is that she is willing to challenge whoever is in front of her and give them work. She is nice on the defensive end too. Not backing down, she is in a solid stance, ready to move, keeping her opponent in front of her. Look for her to be a big-time contributor and help FRA reach new heights.

Olson is the do-it-all kid. Ella stood out because she never took one play off. She hustles on every possession. She provided her team with extra opportunities during the 3v3 and the 5v5. She brings the energy and dives for every loose ball. When she was given the chance to score, she was efficient and knocked down the open shots. This is a kid to keep your eyes on.

A solid ball player who truly gets after it. She’s a Swiss Army knife and can do it all. The type of kid that just rolls up her sleeves and Plays; she’s going to give it her all on both ends of the floor. She’s a selfless ball player who is a multi-level scoring threat. She can attack gaps to score or kick to open teammates, as well as bury her head down and challenge an opponent at the rim. She’s a solid defender who wants to guard the other team’s top player. What I love most about her is her ability to contribute across multiple statistical categories. It’s not about the glory for this young lady. She plays the game because she loves it, puts her head down, and works hard at her craft. Look for her to be instrumental in FRA’s success these next couple of years.

Olson was one of the best all-around players over the weekend. A player that changes the game as soon as she steps on the court. Olson averaged over 14 points a game while still getting her teammates involved. She sees the floor well and really gets out in transition. A player that keeps working until the buzzer sounds.

If Olson isn’t raining 3s from deep you can catch her running the floor in transition. A player who knows how to read the defense and tough to guard because of her ability to move without the basketball. Olson shot the ball well in Game 1 but also showed her ability to score at the rim.
