The Expo Colorado: Five Players Who Dominated the Floor

The Expo Colorado had plenty of talent on display, but there were a few players who separated themselves with the way they impacted the game. Whether it was scoring, defending, rebounding or simply making winning plays, these five consistently found ways to make their presence felt. Here are five of the most dominant players I watched throughout the event.    London is a high level player who can make her presence felt on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she is a three level scorer who can find different ways to put points on the board depending on what the defense gives her. What also stands out is the pride she takes defensively and how difficult she makes it for her matchup to score.     Kimora is a high caliber offensive player who is capable of getting to her spots in the mid-range or finding her way to the basket. She also has range on her jump shot which makes it difficult for defenders to take away one part of her game. Also her willingness to take whatever the defense gives her instead of forcing the action.     We've seen how dominant KJ can be in the post but her game continues to become more. She is now capable of stepping out and knocking down the three while also putting the ball on the floor in transition and making the right read. Being in better shape has helped open up more of her game and allows her to impact possessions in different ways.     Paris was active in the passing lanes defensively and found ways to disrupt the offense. Her ability to help from the weak side, switch and rotate onto different positions gives her plenty of versatility on that end. Offensively, she can create and score from just about anywhere on the floor.     Maria is an underrated player at the guard spot especially when you look at how well she rebounds for her position. She shoots the ball at a high clip while still playing a very unselfish style of basketball. She understands how to make winning plays, even when those plays don't always show up on the stat sheet.
