The Expo Wish List: Uncommitted 2027 Forwards I’d Love to See

The Expo is coming to Grand Rapids on Saturday, September 26th, and the list of talent continues to grow as we get closer to the event. With college coaches expected to be in attendance, it will be a great opportunity for uncommitted prospects to compete, gain exposure, and show everything they can bring to a program at the next level. My Expo Wish List continues with the forwards, a versatile group that can impact the game in a variety of ways on both ends of the floor. There are several uncommitted 2027 forwards I would love to see added to an already talented field, and these are some of the players on my list. Sydney is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of the energy and toughness she brings every time she steps on the floor. She is a determined competitor who plays hard on both ends and isn't afraid to do the work around the basket. Sydney attacks the rim with purpose, using her strength to get downhill, absorb contact, and earn trips to the free-throw line. She is also active on the offensive glass, battling for rebounds and creating extra scoring opportunities for her team. Around the rim, she plays with good balance and can finish strong off two feet. Her motor, physicality, rebounding, and ability to put pressure on the defense are all qualities that could translate well to the next level, and I would love to see Sydney showcase them in front of the college coaches at The Expo.     Mia is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of her versatility and ability to impact the game without needing the ball in her hands. She does many of the little things that help a team succeed, from setting solid screens that create opportunities for teammates to working the glass on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Mia provides a presence around the basket, protecting the paint and altering shots. On the offensive end, she gives teams options with her ability to face up and attack while also being comfortable playing with her back to the basket. Her rebounding, defensive presence, versatility, and willingness to do the work away from the ball are qualities that could bring value to a college program, and I would love to see Mia showcase her game in front of the college coaches at The Expo.     Clare is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of the strength, physicality, and work ethic she brings to the floor. She plays with a strong presence inside, using her strength to establish position and create scoring opportunities around the basket. Clare is comfortable finishing through contact and does a good job going up strong off two feet in the paint. She also works hard on the glass, battling for rebounds on both ends and turning offensive boards into putback opportunities. Her ability to provide physical play, rebounding, and interior scoring could bring plenty of value at the next level, and I would love to see Clare compete in front of the college coaches at The Expo.     Zoe is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of the combination of length, mobility, and versatility she brings to the floor. She plays with a high motor around the basket, working herself into position to track down offensive rebounds and create extra possessions. Zoe also runs the floor extremely well for her size, giving her the ability to make an impact in transition. What adds another dimension to her game is her ability to step away from the basket and knock down shots from behind the arc. Her combination of rebounding, mobility, floor-running, and perimeter shooting gives her an intriguing skill set for the next level, and I would love to see Zoe showcase it in front of the college coaches at The Expo.     Laila is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of the length, athleticism, and activity she brings to the floor. She moves well without the ball and works to establish position inside, where she uses polished footwork to create quality looks and finish around the rim. Laila also makes her presence felt on the glass, consistently pursuing rebounds on both ends and creating extra opportunities for her team. Her combination of size and mobility allows her to cover ground well and gives her the tools to impact the game in multiple areas. With her motor, rebounding ability, and developing skill around the basket, Laila has an intriguing game for the next level, and I would love to see her compete in front of the college coaches at The Expo.
