Mia is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of her versatility and ability to impact the game without needing the ball in her hands. She does many of the little things that help a team succeed, from setting solid screens that create opportunities for teammates to working the glass on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Mia provides a presence around the basket, protecting the paint and altering shots. On the offensive end, she gives teams options with her ability to face up and attack while also being comfortable playing with her back to the basket. Her rebounding, defensive presence, versatility, and willingness to do the work away from the ball are qualities that could bring value to a college program, and I would love to see Mia showcase her game in front of the college coaches at The Expo.

Mia stepped up for Oxford in the elimination tournament, and her impact inside gave the Wildcats an advantage at Michigan Jam Live 3v3. She caught passes with good hands, pivoted, and finished with a soft touch around the basket in traffic. Mia went up strong after a drop-step pivot to score an and-one off two, and gave guards a reliable finisher at the front of the rim. She’s a skilled forward who will be a great addition to a college program.

Mia will be a difficult prospect to stop at Michigan Jam Live 3v3. 6-foot length, she tracks drives very well and protects the rim as a shot-blocker. Mia is skilled in the post, can face-up and attack, and finishes with a soft touch using either hand. She can knock down the 15 footer, will be tough to keep off the glass, and her ball-screens create wide-open lanes for teammates to slash to the hoop. Mia is a talented forward in the Oxford lineup that I’m anticipating a big day from tomorrow.

Mia, a post player for the Goonies, made a strong impact during the MI College Tour III stop at Grand Valley on Saturday by doing the subtle things that make a big difference. She consistently set solid screens to free up teammates and create scoring opportunities. On the glass, she was active on both ends, securing rebounds and giving her team extra possessions. Defensively, she protected the rim well, altering shots and holding down the paint. Offensively, she showed versatility, able to face up and attack or operate with her back to the basket.

Mia turned in a solid two days for Michigan Goonies E40 17U at the PGH MI College Tour. She scored around the basket off two feet with a soft touch on her finishes, created just enough space with a spin, and converted a layup from a difficult angle. Mia protected the rim as a shot-blocker and was active as a rebounder. She’s very mobile, has an athletic build, and has the height you’re looking for in a next-level forward prospect. Mia is a difficult matchup for traditional bigs. She can face-up and drive, play with her back to the basket, and stretch the floor.

Mia is a promising forward prospect for the Wildcats who showed promise at Northwood Team Camp: I expect her to be a breakout player for Oxford in 2024. With Richter graduating, there is a need for someone to fill those shoes in the paint. Mia is an excellent passer out of the high post, has an effective mid-range jumper, and finishes well around the basket. Mia drives by defenders off the dribble to score layups and runs the floor well in transition. Her rebounding, length, and versatility will be crucial for Oxford to compete against tough competition in the OAA Red.
