Sydney is an uncommitted 2027 forward I would love to see at The Expo because of the energy and toughness she brings every time she steps on the floor. She is a determined competitor who plays hard on both ends and isn’t afraid to do the work around the basket. Sydney attacks the rim with purpose, using her strength to get downhill, absorb contact, and earn trips to the free-throw line. She is also active on the offensive glass, battling for rebounds and creating extra scoring opportunities for her team. Around the rim, she plays with good balance and can finish strong off two feet. Her motor, physicality, rebounding, and ability to put pressure on the defense are all qualities that could translate well to the next level, and I would love to see Sydney showcase them in front of the college coaches at The Expo.

Sydney is a determined competitor who leads the way in effort, intensity, and putting her head down to finish at the basket. Sydney battles for offensive rebounds, scores off two feet, and forces fouls with her aggressive drives. Sydney will reach her potential as she develops her jumper and I can’t wait to see her contribute with a dangerous East Lansing team this winter.

Hutson had an impressive summer of AAU basketball and The National Championship was no exception. Sydney drives the lane with authority and can finish through traffic. She effectively finishes off two and gets to the free-throw line often. She works hard on the glass and secured many offensive rebounds to give her team extra scoring opportunities. Look for a big sophomore season for Sydney at East Lansing.
