With each passing year comes renewed energy, hope, optimism, and the ability to dream of what the future holds. Some schools are blessed to acquire new talent for an already established program. Some schools get the girl that will help propel them to the next level. Each year, each season brings a change that ultimately brings a sense of hope for the betterment of a program.   This season, we will see a new class embark on the high school ranks. The 2030s are a class that has been duking it out for some time now. A lot of these girls have been playing high-level basketball on various circuits, and the hope is that it translates to the high school scene as well. These kids are fierce competitors who look to be impactful from day one. They aren't the type that just like to sit back and wait their turn. Each of these girls is ready to come in and compete at a high level. Don't expect them to settle or be complacent, but rather be challengers who are going to carve out serious playing time. Doesn't matter if they are near the muddy Mississippi or in the foothills of the Smokies; there is a good crop of 2030s ready to take the high school scene by storm.    Over the next couple of articles, check out some 30s who are ready to work. The time is now, and they are going to make their first year a coming-out party. Here are a few names to watch over the coming years throughout high school basketball in Tennessee.    A solid two-way player who gets after it on both ends of the floor. For starters, she is a solid defender who makes it tough for her opponents to operate. She gets in the mix on every possession by getting steals, playing excellent on-ball defense, or being in position off-ball to take something away, also contributing on the boards. She is also a multi-level scoring threat that lets the game come to her. A selfless ball player who is looking for the advantageous opportunity, which includes dimming up a teammate or knocking down a much-needed bucket. Look for her to come out of the gates strong and be a ballplayer looking to wreak havoc.     A hard-working player who is such a go-getter. One who can score the basketball a multitude of ways; it's her ability to compete at a high level consistently that truly stands out. She is going to go after it. She's a hustler. She is a workaholic, and her presence is felt always on the floor. It's more than just scoring when it comes to this kid's game. She is going to find ways to be impactful, doing the little things that stand out. Look for her to continue growing and become someone who helps propel her school over the edge.     A solid two-way player who impacts the game every time she steps onto the floor. No matter what is asked of her, she does it, giving it all she has. Her calling card is her defense, where she makes it hard for opponents. Displaying active feet and active hands, she creates chaos the full length of the floor. Don't sleep on her offensive game; she scores the ball at a high clip as well. A multi-level scoring threat who gets after it. Look for her to continue to grow and make her mark on the high school scene.     A change of pace guard who is solid on both ends of the floor. She is a solid defender, but on offense she is excellent with the ball in her hands, a downhill threat who can create off the dribble. She brings speed and creativity into the Dyersburg family, looking to increase their guard play. She will look to make some noise this season as they continue to establish their winning ways. She is a tough competitor who plays the game with passion. Look for her to uplift the program and contribute early.     A kid who is the Draymond Green type of ballplayer. She can handle the rock, knock-down shots from multiple spots on the floor, rebound the basketball, and make it difficult for teams to operate. She's a competitor who is looking to make a name for herself. Look for her to compete every time she steps onto the floor. Has solid upside; look for her to increase her stock as she gets after it this upcoming season. A kid who is going to compete for everything and not back down from any challenge.     A kid with tremendous upside; she is a stats-stuffer who competes in every category. She's a walking double-double who is hard to handle. With or without the ball, her presence is felt throughout the course of the game. She's a top talent who is one of the best in her class. Can play inside or out; she is a difference-maker on both ends of the floor. Speed, power, high energy; she is one of the top players in this class. Look for her to have a standout year and announce her presence to the HS scene early. A special talent that is going to be hard to deal with for years to come.
