2027 Watchlist: Ready When Their Number Is Called

As we continue looking through the 2027 watchlist, there are several players who have the opportunity to make a big impact for their teams this season. Whether it's their ability to score, defend multiple positions or bring energy on both ends of the floor, each of these players has something that could make them an important piece. Here are five names who should be on your radar as we get closer to the start of the season.

RaeLee will be a huge part of what her team is able to do in the paint this season whether it's scoring on the block or the glass. Defensively, she can anchor the paint and make things difficult for players looking to score around the rim. She also runs the floor well in transition giving her team opportunities to get easy looks before the defense gets set.

Shawne is a high energy guard who can get downhill in a hurry and finish strong around the basket. She isn't afraid to draw contact when attacking the rim and can also step out and knock down shots from deep. What also stands out is her willingness to battle for rebounds in the paint, giving her another way to impact the game outside of scoring.

Reyna may be an undersized guard, but she is just as much of a scoring threat as anybody else on the floor. Her ability to provide offense will be valuable for her team this season especially when they need someone to step up and make plays. She is also a pesky defender who can force turnovers in the backcourt and turn those opportunities into transition offense.

Stella will be called upon to do a lot of different things for her team throughout the season. Whether it's making plays with the ball in her hands or finding ways to put the ball in the basket, she has the ability to contribute offensively in different situations. Defensively, she can help protect the paint while also stepping out to guard on the wing when needed.

Khloee will be someone her team needs to be aggressive on the offensive end of the floor this season. She has the ability to make plays for herself and others in transition giving her team another option when pushing the pace. Defensively, she'll also be counted on to compete at a high level and help create opportunities that can turn into easy offense.
